Congrats ! I’m currently in the training process and once I’m qualified I’ll be heading to eastcHester also. What should I expect of it ? Any pointers you can provide to me !? Thank you!

By time you qualify, you won’t have to worry. DMV knows the extent of training. Plus, you will have a couple days after the 10 day just to prep for the road test.

Yea I would definitely try reaching out if I were you. I mean it doesn’t hurt to try at this point. These classes are pretty full so reach out ASAP to get an update.

Hello , no I’m sorry I’m not sure exactly when is the next class . But I think they’re every 6 weeks. A friend of mine got called back also and she was in the class 6 weeks before my class . So I’m guessing it’ll be 6 weeks after the class I started which was 10/24. Not 100 percent sure though .

I recently started training at one of the depots . Training has been going pretty well . For those of you who are waiting to hear back regarding the drug test , they say up to 90 days but they most likely will reach out way sooner. They contacted me within 2 weeks after I was drug tested. My instructor today said they’re hiring many people so continue to check your emails. As far as those who have cdl permits only , after the 7 day training they prepare you for the cdl road test. I am kinda concerned about that part because they mention you only get two tries. If you fail both times then you’re disqualified. Did anyone complete the 2 week training for the cdl road test and received the license ? If so please give any feedback or pointers ! Thanks!

So they wanted me to report to 180 livingston for medical , etc on oct 18th . And they stated they are considering me to join the oct 24th class, but the unfortunate thing is that i will be away from oct 18th-24th. So ill b returning that evening. I'm hoping they'll allow me to take the next class

Hey quick question! I was emailed to come in for the next step which is medical, and to have my finger prints etc. They even told me the date for the next class that they are considering me for. However I unfortunately wont be in town that day,:( Do you know if they normally just offer you another date to come in ? Or will it be a much longer wait now??

While you’re waiting, keep your driver license clean. OA doesn’t have a score system in place. Therefore, if you passed the Bus Selected Survey, your random list will be place on a call candidate list for future employment as positions vacant. The only exam that use a scoring method is TA and thats because its a civil service title.

The only difference is for MaBSTOA (OA) and MTA Bus Company (BC), your list numbers are in random order, while for NYC Transit (TA), the list numbers are determined by how well you did on a multiple-choice Civil Service Examination, in addition to the fact that the agency is supposed to follow the "Civil Service" Rules and Regulations of the City of New York as well.

Hello , i am new to this forum. I was contacted back for bus operator exam 0100 my list number is 3XX. I recently got my cdl class b permit and submitted that to them. Is there anything else i should do besides wait till they reach back out to me? What are the next steps? Thanks! Also where can i go to see my test score im curious.
