Sup Guys and Congrats to the new group under me.  Just to update.  Passed the pratical and midterms and start posting tomorrow for two weeks, then the road and finals.  Not worried about the finals.  Would anyone mind sharing their experiences with posting and road praticals.  Thanks in advance. This board did curb the anxiety and kept me level headed in school.

And Also in the improper zone part, It might sound silly but just need clarity.  Got a few more train reps to go.   Are we closing doors the same way (MDC ButtosnS flip flop according to the platform you're on) of the Operating cab while in the non-operating cab or Different? Cause they have been training us with the r46s more than the other cars. Its the mental notes of the MDC too that fluster people.

Got my conductor induction schedule.  Does anyone know the time of the road posting days.  It doesnt have a am to pm on my sheet.   Mine is from  9/1 to 9/20

Good Morning to all.  Got up early to go over other emails and am doing my 401 now.  Few questions.  I know it sounds sily but What to put in the "Original Date Employed" box , the effective date or the reporting date from the sheet I was given prior to zoom and school? also How much do you recommend in sending in the "before tax contriubitons" (% or $) and also the Roth section and has anyone done the Goal Maker option?  Thanks.  Will save my draft and finish it later

Another question.  Do you have Olha or 180 Livingston Street's number.  Its in regards to the safgard shoes. The site is still not recognizing my Pass and BSC  I tried emailing and safgard said check in with mta and I emailed some mta people and they didnt respond back yet.   Thanks in advance.

Good Evening. I've received an email updating me of the school schedule change.  They told me to report at 3:30 pm instead of 7:30 am on Tuesday now. Whats the time span for the 3:30 pm session?

Zoom call easy. Class will jump right in. Bring a bag for your books and equipment.  Bring black pens and a notebook. Lots of reading!! And studying!! You'll climb on to a train from the tracks first week. It's pretty easy just follow what they show you. It's a deal breaker,  if you can't you will be chopped. Hands on will start week 2 but lots, lots, lots of reading. Classes will be 7-3 first week or so at the MTA school in Brooklyn.  Then you'll be at the yards. Road ops last 2 weeks. Midterms 1 written, multiple choice and a yard practical. Final, multiple choice too and a road practical. 

This is the basics. Keep in touch, you'll do fine. I was in the May class. I'm out on the road now in A division for a week now! It's pretty cool. Congratulations again!!!

Good Evening.  Im having problems setting up an account on Safgard.  It's saying invalid mta account after I typed in my Pass and BSC.  The lady that appointed me told me the BSC is my employee ID #.  Do I need these boots for the class next tuesday? I reached out to safgard, and the two mta reps that were emailing me during my hiring process.  Thanks in advance.

Good Evening to all.  Update.  things went well last week. Im doing a zoom on the 26th and a class session on the 27th.  What is it like?  Also Im  trying to log into the safgard site to get boots.  Is it because I'm registering too soon ?

Good Evening again.  Do I have to bring in a High School Diploma for the Canvas continuation? I have my college degree on me but cant find the diploma at this moment.  Still looking.

Good afternoon to all.  Congrats to my brothers that have waited the wait.   Just a few questions.  I received  and finished the pre-employment packet last week.  Earlier today, I  received a letter stating to come in to continue the pre-employment process on Juy 8th.  It numbered the things I need to have said to have which included "successful completion of a drug/alcohol laboratory examination".  Thats where my question lies.  Do I have to get one and bring it in by that date attend or they will schedule me one?  Thank you in advance.  Good luck to all!!!
