  1. Okay my question is … can you bring in a letter from your doctor to the medical? That way if you know you have any issues they won’t put you on hold? Like I usually always fail the Ekg but I’m perfectly healthy nothing wrong with me. Are notes allowed before hand from a cardiologist or no?

Eye test, hearing test, piss test, blood pressure, ekg. Then you see the doctor. And if you pass all those things, and have a neck that measures bigger than 16.5 inches, you have to go for a sleep study. (My personal story)

Yes plenty of parking garages I believe most are about 20 dollars for 12 hrs early bird special. Just don’t come in with an SUV. The placed I parked at was an extra 25 dollars for SUV.

Would you get off my post!! Haha just kidding. Keep in touch though.

  4. Hi Everyone!!! So today I completed my 1st step. It was a smooth easy process. I arrived at 5:45am. Plenty of parking garages very close by. So there should be no parking issues for anyone. Once I handed in all of my paperwork the next step was to walk over to the lab and take the urine drug test. Once that was completed, I was told I could go home. I was only there from 6:30am and I walked out of the building before 8am.

My Uber is like 70 dollars I’m sure I can find a parking lot for cheaper then that.

I just looked it up. I didn’t think it would be $70. It’s the same for me. I’m coming from Staten Island. I’m going to do what you’re doing. Find a parking garage or something. That’s ridiculous $70.

    thank you.

I’ll see you tomorrow at 6:30 lol even though I have no idea who you are hahah

Could it be problematic? I didn’t take the exam for conductor, but I’m going to email RTO today.

I emailed her and she confirmed that it is in did for train operator. I am sure it was written in here a million times. But do I have to wear business attire for tomorrow? It’s the 1st step. The drug/alcohol part.

Yes, you and @MNB0205 should contact Transit and make sure you two are fine. You don't want to take any chances and waste a day coming in for nothing.

Also to clarify for everyone, the train operator position requires a driver license.

They will want you to have it all paid off. When I was getting hired, they made people go down a couple blocks to the Brooklyn Business Center to pay them off and bring back the receipt.

Who do I contact? What’s the information?

Just got the email to come in for pre-employment on Monday! I know that the information is buried somewhere in this thread, but what should I expect?

Did your email say MTA New York City Transit is considering you for a position as a Conductor and invites you to our facility at MTA 180 Livingston street (between Smith and Hoyt Streets), 5th floor??? I’m confused because the subject says Train Operator and in the email it said conductor lol. Was wondering if your email said the same.
