Nah fam, Most info is public but most people in RTO act like it's not public info when MTA puts it in a PDF. You Guys catch a titty attack when we share our opinions and when y'all are proven wrong, y'all go completely apeshit over non sense.

The reason why the retards do all of the f**kery you posted above because of shitty politicians (DeBlassio, Coumo and etc.) who became to lax on the law. This is why vandalism went up. lets not forget that a good chunk of the vandalism was also done by former employees.

You can't get mad at railfans for knowing shit when people in your own backyard has been doing dumb shit as well.

You also Have Employees selling confidential info on discord (the people are still employed btw)

Maybe if Our city and state government stop being such clowns and actually punish the idiots doing this, all of the above wouldn't be an issue. Also (MTA) needs to stop play favorites when certain employees do f**k shit. Because if i was employed with them and done all of the above, they would have fired my black ass no questions asked.

Anyone know or have the R211 schedule??

For now, there is no service for the 23/24 and I also heard that earlier there was a crash on Huguenot Ave/Drumgoole Ave which effects service of SIM2 & SIM24.

And due to the iced roads, and the Goethals Bridge being closed for Road Work, SIM8, SIM8X, SIM23, SIM24, SIM25, SIM26, and SIM30 have been re-routed via Bayonne so they can salt the roads.

Also, that bus has been sitting in one spot for a while now. Maybe it's disabled.

Speaking of this, like 1 month ago back in mid-November I saw a M14A SBS+ #6192  with a West Farms Bus Depot sticker instead of Quill

Some kid has been playing around with the depot stickers, placing the old Hudson Pier sticker on top of the Quill sticker on buses.

The 5-car R160s will be 1 fleet consist by the end of this year, total of 1,290 units: 8653-9942.

    Routes: (E)- 8 Av, (F)- 6 Av,  (R)- BROADWAY, (G)- Brooklyn-Queens Crosstown

On the other hand, all 4-car R160s are at East New York.

Correct and that's partly why the M Trains destination was Broadway Junction on weekends so M Trains can basically get to Broadway Junction Train Yard a little quicker, and easier.

That is true in that pre-COVID, Metro-North saw record ridership, but that doesn't mean that riders weren't lost as fares have increased.  The (MTA) has discussed this issue in previous board meetings, which is that the fares are such that it is starting to push people into their cars. It's not so much that MNRR riders and other riders that use commuter services aren't wealthier because they definitely are, no question, but rather the cost of fares vs the cost to drive. Right now, even with off-peak fares being charged, when I go in with Metro-North from Riverdale, it's still $20.00 round trip if I use the shuttle bus and $24.00 w/peak fares, which will likely resume next year at some point. It starts to make more sense to drive in these scenarios, esp. if you aren't paying for parking in a garage or if you can snag a special.

I have a few colleagues right now that live in Upper Montclair and other parts of New Jersey. They have stopped taking the train or express bus and drive in when they need to now and that shift likely won't change.

For the local buses, demographics show that they tend to be poor, though there are exceptions of course.

Yes and now that my colleagues tend to be driving at this point, I still have to travel using these unexpected prices for Round-Trip.

  7. I think that FB Depot should let East NY Depot borrow some 2019 XD60's for the B82+ SBS for more space for passengers but at the same time, the B82+ SBS doesn't get enough ridership for them to receive some 2019 XD60's so maybe that's why they don't have some at this time yet but in the future they should consider doing some borrowing from FB Depot.
