Can anyone tell me if there is a money order involved in the medical process and if so how much is needed. I was called by Olha who said she was sending me an email with instructions for medical this Monday and mentioned a money order but I never got an email. I emailed employment operations but they take 3 days to email back. I'm not trying to get a message Sunday night telling me to be there Monday morning with a money order or something I don't have

The other post is correct. $88.25 must be a post office money order.

This is the second time doing the whole thing.  First time I didn’t make the classes back in feb because i needed 30 days on cpap and by the time I got everything there was no more classes  and I see people went in on April 1 and already got their email I went in April 2nd and nothing. Hopefully this week

Reach out to Olha maybe. I just got an email again. Going back this week. Last year they told me I had sleep apnea because my neck was fat 😂🤣. Did my test and I didn’t 🤔. Not at all. Let’s see what’s happening this time around. I got one more trip left in me to that Mta office for this pre employment I’m telling yah. 😆. Btw next class 04/22.

Did anyone here go on April 2nd and got an email?   Someone went in on April 1st and got their email to go back on Thursday so i thought i would get mine by Friday but didn’t get anything

The first time I went I got called back a few months after. The last time I went and I got called back a few days. Keep checking your email. Hopefully you’ll hear from them soon.

What time are they telling you to go in? I got my letter to come in Monday at 6:30AM, I was thinking/hoping that can't be the right time

Lol. The letter is right. Every time that I’ve had to go in it’s been 6:30 or 7am. What I dislike is the short notice 😂😂but I’m make it happen. I’m hopeful for a positive outcome this time.

This is insane. The only good thing about this MTA gig is pension and more opportunity. I have to clear medical & I’ll have to wear a CPAP for 30 days. This is just insane. It’s wild how they run stuff.

i took the bus yesterday and the driver of the bus was way heavier than me. I’m confused about how they run stuff. Good luck hopefully you go in soon. Least the list doesn’t expire until next yr.

They be going hard. I did pre employment twice and medical twice and gave up 🤣. Now I’m back. The first time I went in they had me do a sleep study and wanted me to get a letter from my endocrinologist because I’m diabetic so I ended up getting a letter from my pcp. I sent them everything and they let me wait again when I finally went back I had to do everything over from scratch. The good thing is that I stay d in contact with Olha and about a week after I completed the second pre employment/ medical they called me to come in. I was out of the country so that didn’t go as planned.  They just emailed me last week and said to email dcas to get my name on the list and I did. I just got email confirmation from them my name was restored. My number is 7000’s so I’m see how it goes this time around.

  6. MTA emailed me last week that they’re sending back the list to DCAS and if I wanted to be placed back on the list to send an email. I did. I’m thinking about going in person one day but I heard that they moved. What’s the new address?

  7. Hi all. I have a question. I went in last year May and was placed on medical hold. Had to go back and do everything over. Hold was cleared but I had to leave the country on short notice for a few weeks (they called me back in September and I did over medical). Is there any way to go back for another medical now or is it this for me since they passed my list number. Thanks.

  8. Story of my life 🤣😂😩. So yea, I’m leaving and won’t be here to do the medical 😐. I’m honestly not even canceling my trip especially since it’s a family emergency. I did email them to let them know. If I get in I get in and if I don’t then it wasn’t meant to be. 🤷🏽‍♀️

  9. I have a quick question. I just did my drug test this week. They’re having a class beginning the last week of September. What are the odds that they’ll call me for that class? this is my second time doing the drug test and will need to complete another medical as well because my first one expired. The problem is I may be going out of the country until the end of this month. The person I spoke to said they’re looking to fill slots for that class so it’s a possibility they’ll call me back. Last time, I waited about a month and a half for a call back.

Take what you have. A copy might be ok.

They need the original copy unfortunately. I had misplaced mine also and had brought a copy that they didn’t accept. I had to apply for a new one. Definitely  go. When I went I explained my situation. I was able to do my drug test and I applied for a new copy of my GED. I got it just in time for the medical portion.

What you have to do to put your name back on the restoration? (where do you do it)

Them email that they sent me is LMACustomerService@dcas.nyc.gov. Send name, list number, last 4 of social.  Called in because I was confused why they would tell me to put my name back when it’s already on there. lol. They didn’t explain that the list was gon get updated and my name was going to come off.

  12. Ok. Got an update. List is going to be updated. Because I wasn’t hired my name will be removed. My drug test also expired. Class will begin on Monday and unfortunately it won’t be enough time for my drug test to be completed. I was informed to do the restoration later this month and hopefully  will be considered for the next class. Thanks again for all the help offered.

oof, Id get that straightened out asap

I’m telling you. Lol. They can’t get it right. 😂😩I’ve requested it sooooooo many times with them. I literally gave up. I’m calling them tomorrow first thing in the morning. 🙏 for me and thank you so much. Y’all literally keep me sane and answers all my questions or concerns. I appreciate.

you're definitely still on the list, just clear your hold by august 12th

I just went back on DCAS and found my name on the list which still says the list is active. Idk maybe someone’s not paying attention. When I applied for this position i was using my maiden name but now I got married. Although I changed my name with them all of the documents that I receive from MTA has my maiden name and my name on the DCAS shows my marriage name. 🤦🏽‍♀️

May 12th wasnt even 2 months ago, you shouldnt have to restore your name to the list yet, you di that if its been longer than 3 months

My thoughts exactly and when I go to the dcas web site I still see my name and list number on there unless they take you off and you’re still able to see that info online. I’m going to call tomorrow and find out.

Alright, you should get a letter in the mail from DCAS in a week or two. The list hasn't been certified again so I'd be very surprised if they don't call you in for the upcoming classes.

Thank you. I emailed DCAS to request the restoration and CC’d that ecmro to keep everyone on the same page. Although they probably don’t care lol. Greatest thing is that the documents are submitted. I’ll keep everyone posted. Thank you all so much.

When did you go for your medical? The list was certified again back in February.

Anyway you can send an email to LMACustomerService@dcas.nyc.gov with your name, title (exam#), list number, and last four digits of your SSN asking to be reinstated.

I went for medical in May 12. I know she told me to submit before 90 days.
