Guys, I got the call! Basic Skills next week

Hey guys, just doing the occasional check in lol...anyone hear anything yet?

Yea I think a few of us just happened to stumble upon this forum and we've kept in touch here...still nothing, can't believe no news not even a timeline or anything, but we're responsible for memorizing all of the info until they decide to give us a call 

Yea it would really suck if it gets to the point where they make us retake the tests...called today still no update. 

Hopefully soon guys lol. Buddy of mine says he heard a BO class for this summer of 12. I think our class was 11? I have to retouch on everything it's been almost 9 months since we passed that S&D test 

Update: No update still.

I still haven't heard anything. Tried calling no answer. Just the waiting game now I guess  

Anyone get any updates?

I was just called today, was advised there are no dates for 2022, no concrete dates yet but earliest is in January/February. Was advised to keep studying the S&D and the 2nd packet given.

I believe the instructor had mentioned a date mid December in the overview, but the lady after the test only mentioned a November date. I plan to contact HR next week if I still haven't heard anything. I'm expecting realistically a January class though if we still haven't heard about the basic skills.

They will let you know right after grading everyones test. The ppl who passed will be given more information on the following steps afterwards. Good luck!

She actually just replied acknowledging RSVP was received also. Just gotta go Saturday with the mindset it's a whole interview/class lol. Good luck we'll both need it for the next few weeks.

I'm not sure either, but I'm sure they're going to make sure we did all of the paperwork correctly and go over the S & Ds in depth so we leave with some kind of understanding. Btw how did you RSVP, did you just reply to the HR rep that emailed you? That's what I did there was no link or even on the application page where I originally applied. At this point it's winging it and showing up lol.

I did have a friend say they usually have a cognitive test but that it's usually also in the email we got....but it wasn't so I'm not sure.

I got an invitation, my email only mentions the overview that date and S&D test on 10/1. Lets get ready to become a slave to the LIRR for the next few months
