He's spreading false narratives again without proof..... Do I really need to set the record straight again?

“More R211 built because Wikipedia says it” He typically announces R211 construction like this, but it is hardly believable since Wikipedia isn’t a reliable source.

    ANYONE CAN EDIT THE PAGES

I can pretty much say that up to 4349 and 140 is within the facility. Bare in mind the Lincoln production duration ranges between 3-6 months and the shells from Kobe come in at a rate of about 3-4 per week to bi-weekly if any delays which can be random. The facility can only house a capacity with about 70-100 cars at max, inside and out to what I was told. 140 just came into the receiving line actually. The production for the base order is excepted to be completed by the end of the year latest to get the green lit for the option cars receiving in January 2025.

With the R44SIR finally getting processed to be scrapped, the pilot is coming closer to debut, actual has to be announced by the MTA themselves.

    Actually consists are as follows:

    4090-94 + 4115-19

    4095-99 + 4135-39

100-04 still idle at Saint George Terminal (TK 11)

105-114 still at Yonkers and 115-140 are built as of today.

This means 350/535 R211s are built!

UPDATE ON THE R211S AS OF 4/18/24

    R211s in service

R211A: 130 cars, or 13 10-car trains, all trains currently run on the (A) line

    4060-69, pilot,

    4070-74, 4125-29

    4075-79, 4120-24

    4080-89

    4090-99

    4100-04, 4130-34

    4105-09, 4190-94

    4110-14, 4140-44

    4115-19, 4135-39

    4145-49, 4165-69

    4160-64, 4195-99

    4170-79

    4180-89

R211T: 20 cars, or 2 10-car trains, all trains currently run on the (C) line

    4040-49

    4050-59

Total amount of R211s in service: 150

Other consists not in service yet

    R211A:

    4150-59, At Jamaica Yard

    4200-09, BIT'd a bit ago

    4210-19, BIT'd more recently then 4200-09

4220-34, Delivered recently, at CIY and Pitkin respectively

    R211S:

    100-104, no words

Total amount of NIS R211s: 50

Notes: Back on schedule! All previously in service R211s are back on the tracks after a ~6 month hiatus with these issues! Now let's just hope this doesn't happen again any sooner.

    R211 Deliveries

R211A: 4060-4234, 175 cars or 17 10-car sets and 1 5-car set; Pretty much every set at Pitkin

    R211T: 4040-4059, 20 cars or 2 10-car sets; all at Pitkin

    R211S: 100-104, 5 cars or 1 5-car set; set at Clifton

Total number of cars delivered: 200

Notes: The fact that there's still 335 more cars to be delivered to the city just in the abse order kills me.

    R211s confirmed as built

    Alleged results included...

R211A: 4235-4314, 80 cars or 8 10-car sets (4235-89 most likely built since there's someone here that we can all rely on; 4290-4314 allegedly built)

    R211S: 105-134, 30 cars or 6 5-car sets (115-134 allegedly built)

Total cars built and not delivered: 110

Notes: Just hope these are confirmed by September. And if they are, we are just one step closer to completing the Base Order, except there's still maybe around 1,000 more that need to be built if they are confirmed by the MTA themselves

Add that up with the delivered cars and you get...

255 R211As (4060-4314);  under construction + 640 from Option Order I and God knows what from Option Order II

    20 R211Ts (4040-4059); completed

    35 R211Ss (100-134); 40 under construction

    310 R211s in total, (100-134, 4040-4314)

Yet any Pitkin Pullmans retired...good for them.

    Notes: Well, damn.

But besides that, I hope you liked this! Only did it because 200 R211s are delivered! I'll do this again when ~250 R211s are delivered or when there's too much going on.

This is a hell of a long list but great job!

I just assumed the database had crashed again and he couldn't get it to work again.  The software was ancient and the hardware probably was too.

I find that on this site they mostly talk about current operations.  There is limited historical discussion.  I was always more interested in the historical myself.

I checked sub chat just now, and it appears to be back online again

r211A 4310-4314 is also bulit on wiki now there 305 r211

For there to be 305 R211s (split between 35 R211S, 20 R211T, 250 R211A) consecutively, it needs to go like this

    R211S - 100-134

    R211T - 4040-4059

    R211A - 4060-4309

    4310-4314 makes it 310 cars instead of 305. Additionally, Wikipedia isn’t a good source…

How many production sets are now confirmed to be either delivered or bulit?

    This is what I have

    R211S 100-104 - In Property

R211S 105-114 - Sitting in Yonkers, confirmed built

R211S 115-134 - Unknown, but it’s been allegedly built, however most likely not confirmed since the person used wiki as their source. (Seth Jonas)

    R211T 4040-4059 - In Property

    R211A 4060-4229 - In Property

R211A 4230-4234 - Sitting in Lincoln, confirmed built

R211A 4235-4289 - Unknown, but most likely built (Metro CSW)

R211A 4290-4309 - Unknown, but it’s been allegedly built, however likely not confirmed (Seth Jonas)

Update - I managed to figure out a post made at a very close time to when Harry made his account. I managed to figure this out by going to the subway subforum, sorting it by date and going all the way to the last
