The recent derailment on the No. 1 to me is a symptom of managment, and a society itself that's starstruck and head-over-heels in love with new technology and neglecting the real, physical infrastructure. That's why they spend so much on NTTs, moving towards CBTC and even automatic train operation, and yet there's a broken running rail. If it were my call, I wouldn't have the NTTs, do a complete overhaul on the R46s, and FIX THE ROAD instead of developing trains that operate...
