I completely agree. The affect on seniority would be nil in this situation. But more importantly being the last one called for the 4/29 class would leave him with no flexibility as to which division he could select. At least with the 5/20 class if this call puts him in the top 30, he can pick the B division if he so chooses.

So only a few people get to choose a division ?

I got in to 4/29 class - please let me know what chapters in the blue rules & reg book should i be reading first

Ok, here's what I've got for you guys....my list is 500-520. I got the letter on December 8th to go in for the drug test on the 13th.

I got the call on January 29th to report for the medical and final processing today, February 6th.

I made it through!!! So happy and relieved. I start February 25th. And I don't know about everyone else, but the folks I dealt with were really great. You're nice to them, they're real nice back at ya!. Just keep your cool and you'll get through it.

It's best to get there between 6:45a and 7:00a. The day of my drug test I arrived 7:05a and was out by 11:00a. As opposed to some of the folks that got there close to 7:30. Some of them were still waiting to go back to give a sample. Keep in mind that other lists are active and current MTA Employees report to 180 Livingston for medical testing as well. Went in early Feb for DT... no call for medical list 6xx

I'm in this range ... hope that I didn't miss the call.  Do they send a letter if they can't reach you by telephone ?

I also heard from my TSS yesterday that there will be another class of 40 T/O's starting the end of February and another class of 40 starting in March. That is all they know about so far for this year. There may be a slow down after that, they will still be hiring just not as frequently. So make sure you have all your ducks in a row if your looking to get into one of these next 2 classes. Anyway my class only has about a month and a week left. Only thing left to do is road posting and final exam. We started with 10 and are down to 7. Good luck to you all.
