The new Prevosts make a stop at Yukon for Farebox and Radio installation as Meredith does not have the facilities for these things.

1300, 1302, 1303 and 1304 are in Secaucus. No fareboxes, OMNY or radio installed yet with MTA Bus decals

I know how to use the Open Data site. Point of the post was to say that they are still promoting from 4700. Also, while a list can have an expiration date, it can be terminated at any point.

It's not looking likely. They're calling the second class off 4700 since reopening. They're in the 290s now.

Just heard that another class starting March 2 from 4700

Saw it this morning, still has Grand Ave decals. It probably pulled in already. That run on the s55 pulls in around 9:20am

For now, no. And I very much doubt they will.
6161 might be heading to Hale....it came off of the RFK bridge several hours long ago. It's in Manhattan, but not sure where yet.
8713 en route to Castleton.
8687 en route to Kingsbridge.
8727 registered at Yukon, unsure if that will go to Castleton or not.
8727 is at Yukon

I posted this in another thread but my theory is the 7000s are due for their 8 year upgrade, so some new LFS buses are being diverted there to cover for those being sent up to Grand Ave. A couple of 7000s are already up at Grand Ave

Thank goodness that the Orion VII 3Gs are not leaving Castleton!
Just a theory but could it be that the Orion VII 3Gs are due for their 8 year “upgrade” that Castleton is getting new Novas? There are a few Orion’s up at Grand Avenue currently.

Not that it means much but they’ve slapped CAS decals on those 3 buses. One is currently in the yard training. Another is inside the depot. I want able to locate the third bus.

Right thats what I'm saying because I also have 8241-8243, 8247-8252 with screens. Might as well update the entire list.
I wonder why Charleston isn't installing the screens?
So far only 8136 at Charleston has screens installed, but aren't functional at the moment.

Curious question really on Meredith:
The one other garage in the system in danger of flooding is Meredith, with the lot right next to the Arthur Kill. Where are Meredith Depot buses moved during a potential flooding situation? (Looking at the OEM's Hurricane Zone map, only Meredith and Far Rockaway are in Zone 1.)
The Meredith buses are parked at the Forest Hill Yard at Yukon and at the Eltingville Transit Center when there is a flooding threat.

So the SIM5x, SIM6x and SIM7 don't have a Depot except for trippers?
The SIM7 has straight runs out of Yukon.

Yesterday and today, some s44 and s94 LTD had buses from the Castleton Depot. These weren't school trippers because it was during the PM rush.
In the SI Division, open trips can be covered by any operator regardless of depot. When you transfer to SI Division, you must learn all local and express routes in the division.

That’s completely false. The test was different than previous tests, the questions were hard but no one came out of there in an hour. Just because Staten Island operators did well doesn’t imply anyone had the test before hand. For all those that passed, a whole lot more did not pass. You shouldn’t believe rumors.
