Anyone who has been through early training already can let me know what kind of clothing they want or will per you wear day 4 etc?
they give you the equipment you will need ( reflective vest, hard hat, gloves, etc) in terms of clothing you can wear blue jeans or any kind of pants that is dark in color cargos, and for upper body long or short sleeve is fine and you must have construction boots, you will be provided with the website where you can order your boots once you attend final processing at 180.

Just want to wish everyone who went into today for Class 10/2 training nothing but the best from here on out. And to remember to be Confident and don't let nervousness get the better of you while training. This was my biggest issue that is why I fail, tell yourself I can achieve anything I put my mind to, and remain positive. Positive thoughts bring positive outcomes. Lastly however your instruct tells you they want something done just follow along without question no matter how crazy it might seem, its in your best interest. Nothing but the best and have a Good day.

My sincere condolences...I know how you feel...I couldn't stop crying for a week when I failed back in 2014...
From 2014: I remember the hook turn immediately after the bus stop, I don't remember the overhead pass beam though...
Yes, unfortunately this includes MaBSTOA and MTA Bus. I think it's every 5 years because normally with NYC Transit, a civil service exam comes out every four [4] years, so I think their intention is to make you take two exams to get back in...besides trying to forget what you went through last time.
Offhand, are you looking for a job? If so, my company is hiring...click here for details.
Good luck...
If you don't mind could you tell me why you where disqualified?

It was two bus stops on a divider one at the beginning of the block and one at the end and there was a overhead pass right after that

Question: Does anyone know why it's 5 years to reapply for the Bus Operator position? and Does it include Mabstoa and MTA Bus?

I had her today for my final training and from what I experienced she is no joke she was on my case for every little thing. So just prepare for a tongue lashing if she sees you do something wrong.Anyone have supt. Evans out of JFK? How is she/he? Any personal tips? Lol

If you don't mind sharing, what were the reason they said you didn't qualify?

I failed because I miss judged a turn from a bus stop. I was attempting make a regular right turn when I should of done a hook turn. There was an overhead pass beam that I needed to clear on my left side and I wasn't able to do so, and the instructor had to reverse the bus and that's an automatic fail.

Anyone who went to Day 10 could tell me what it's going to like so I could be prepared?

main thing to get thru the 10 day training is listen to your instructor
drive slow don't be in a rush ,scan your mirrors 3-5 seconds, look out and call out anything hazardous around you ,keep your 4ft from cars parked on right and the curb, take your time when making either left are right turns
day 6 was today for me hope you doing well this for
I got sent to day 8 and 9 what should I prepare for does anyone know?
