Guys, please, Monday - ask your class instructor if there are classes scheduled to begin in July and August for new people hired. if not, then when is the next class scheduled to start after June.

In this case we, who is waiting, would know what to expect this summer or fall.

This is true. I didn't have everything up to speed and it knocked me back from the 4/28 to the 5/19 class. I didn't discover this forum until AFTER my first setback. Good to have this. Gets you prepared.

Depending on the divisions. A division is 6 months. B division is 9 months. Reason being, the B division has more equipment (ie R32, R42,R46,R68,R68A,R143,R160) Meanwhile back in the A division the only equipment we have to learn are (R62,R62A,R142,R142A,R188) See the difference? When do you guys start?

So exactly how long is class? We are 3 weeks behind you and I don't expect them to overlap.

I'm over here counting the days like an inmate waiting to get released! These last couple of weeks feel like forever...

Got sworn in today! I'll be in the 5/19 class! This has definitely been a rough ride for me! Happy I can finally say that I'm in!

I'm trying to get busy tomorrow and finish up by Tuesday the latest. That way I could possibly sneak into that 5/19 class under the radar. Tomorrow is a big day for me. Making moves.

Is it true that upon acceptance of the position I HAVE to move to NY? I'm currently in NJ.

Medical hold pushed me from the 4/28 to the 5/19 class. Still happy to be in. Can't wait to start! Really interested in what you guys have to say about the experience.
