You had plenty of opportunities to get your last pics of Orion V's at Stengel. It's your own fault that you missed out so don't feel sorry for yourself. Why did you wait when it came down to 6222 & 6202?
Wait, no more Orion V's on the Q32 on Madison Avenue?!?!

Hold it one second. The newest RTS are the 1998s. 1998>2008(10)>2018(20)>2028(30)
Are you trying to say that we won't get rid of the RTS till 2028?
LMFAOOOOOOOOO this got me weak
Wait, so the Orion V was supposed to be dead now?

LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
The 9350-9699 are from 1997-1998. 4900-5249 are late 1998/1999. The 1997 Novas was always the problematic ones, especially their wheelchair lifts.
Plus those destination signs aren't my favorite. FAR from my favorite, I make them anyway on my computer anyway.
But 9525-9699 and also 4900-5104 both recognized as 1998 though. (notice the bolded #'s)
It's as if MTA with their lazy @sses just said, "ehhh just throw all nine thousand's in the scrapper!" "we lovez us some fooooouuurrrr & fiiiiivvvve thousands HUEHUEHUE"

Let alone the older 87-9300's still so prevalent. (And for "haing something against them, they won't even dump them down on MTAB, hence keeping all the older stuff).
Every time I ask this, people say the newer ones are in really bad condition, while the older ones were SMS'ed or something, but then that begs the question of why the don't hand them down and keep the older ones for TA, then).
It's been almost 10 years since MTA Bus completely took over the PBL's. They still didn't get this retarded attitude of treating them as "lesser" out of their heads? It's not like there are really Ex-PBL's left* anyway.
*The last local Ex-PBL's to run the streets of NYC were the Ex-QSC Orion V CNG's. The only ones left are Ex-NYBS 7423-7428 (renumbered to 29XX's), only running on express lines.

Damn, what does the MTA have against the 95XX/96XX buses? I mean, look at the amount scrapped VS. the amount of 49XX/50XX units! They're the same year and model!
Better say goodbye to the classic destination signs we knew and loved...

What's with your hate of the Q35?
I don't hate it, I would actually be pretty happy seeing one of these on the Q35 (it was cool seeing a D60 on it). But on my B9 thread, I exaggerated some problems with the route, like it running express on Flatbush at late nights, northbound buses using Avenue I/Nostrand...

So this showed up in my Youtube feed
Can someone explain how an L train would terminate at Atlantic Avenue?
There is a crossover track ahead that can turn trains around...

Wow these 1996 RTS' can go all the way to 2016 but they retired the 1997 Ex-GBL Orion Vs in 2012 (no CNG excuse here like with the C40LFs/Orion V CNGs)

TTMG's roster has them listed as system reserve.
So that means like if a bus shortage happened, then they would be sent out for service, right?

Wait, 1999/2000 ones? So i assume those are for the museum then (being the first MTA low floors)

damn it my lil friend right here decided to write something vulgar just ignore that

Most get destroyed, but usually wait at ECH first while pending scrap. ECH still has 3 1999 C40s for some reason. Isn't one usually enough?
Wait, 1999 ones? I'll just assume for now that those are bound for the museum... since they ARE the first MTA nyct low-floor buses.

Sooo many damn RTS's scrapped... wait when they say scrapped are they already destroyed or getting ready to?

I just noticed that the B46 - Fillmore Avenue runs are not mapped on any bus schedules/timetables. The only B46 short runs shown are the Avenue H to Eastern Parkway / ones. What's up with that?
