  1. Something's up. Just saw a n/b (D) head over the (Q) tracks on the Manhattan Bridge, along with a s/b (N) running on the (Q) local tracks at DeKalb, and my s/b (B) held on the Bridge for about 15 min with no n/b trains passing by on the (B) / (D) tracks.

    Supposedly something about hanging cables at 4 Av-9 Street  (D)  (F)  (G)  (N)  (R) station

Southbound (D) and (N) trains were running local from Atlantic Avenue to 36 Street. Some southbound  (D) and (N) trains were rerouted via the (Q) from DeKalb Avenue to Coney Island. There was delays in botth directions on the  (B)  (D)  (N)  (Q) and  (R) trains.

  2. To be honest, I don't like the R32's in any line, but some R160's replaced the R32's of the (C)(J) and (Z) trains. But thanks to the R179's, it's going to replace all the R42's and I hope the (MTA) can let the R179's replace all the R32's. I like more the R46's but, it's going to be replaced by the R211's.

And the first 2 sets of 5-car sets of the R179's have been built, so anytime soon, we might see the (MTA) testing it in any BMT/IND lines.

  3. My lord, I can understand wanting so desperately to see NTTs on the (1) & (3), but this is getting ridiculous already.

I'm not saying that, I was asking a question about if it's true that the train operator has the choice to switch the train into the line it's rerouted. For example, if a R142 (5) train is rerouted via the (4) to Burnside Avenue/Woodlawn or if it's rerouted via the (6) to Parkchester/Pelham Bay Park, does the train operator has the choice to switch the (5) train into a (4) and/or (6) train?

  4. Or another example, if a (5) train is being rerouted via the (1) line to 242 Street, 137 Street, or South Ferry or it's rerouted via the (3) to Harlem 148 Street, does the train operator has a choice to turn the (5) into a (1) and/or (3) train?

Because I know if the train is equipped with an R62A or R62, it stays on the same train line, but I'm talking about a NTT like the R142's,R142A's,R188's,R143's,R160A/B,and R179's.

2 sets of a R179 has been built, so I guess the (MTA) is going to test the 2 sets of the R179's anytime soon.

  5. Do you guys think it's true if a train is being rerouted, the train operator has the choice if he wants to switch the train to the line it is being rerouted? Like say a (2) train was rerouted via the (1) line to Van Cortlandt Park 242 Street or via the (3) line to Harlem 148 Street, do you guys think the operator has choice if he wants to switch the (2) train into a (1) or (3) train?

  6. Service Change  Posted: 07/18/2016  4:12PM

Due to signal problems at Time Square-42 St, the following service changes are in effect:

Some northbound 2.png trains are running on the 5.png line from Nevins St to 149 St-Grand Concourse.

Some northbound 2.png and 3.png trains are running local from 14 St to 72 St.

Expect delays on northbound 1.png2.png and 3.png trains.

    Allow additional travel time.

  7. That R142A (1) was from my video, and I can tell you that it was a really a (6), it was just that one sign that glitched...

Yeah you're late, someone else told me, but nice catch of the glitch though. :)

Thanks Shade Jay, I think you are really nice keep it up. I am 12 years old that's also why. I have a question, when I went to the New York Transit Museum, I heard rumors that the (7) used to be instead a BMT or IND line before being an IRT line. Is this actually true?

Also I have one problem, how do you friend someone, considering I am still new since I am 12 years old and about to be 13 in january 6?

Thanks dude, I think you are nice dude. Keep it up Shade Jay. I am also 12 years old that's why too. I'm in this world for 12 years. I have a question though, went I went to the New York Transit museum, I heard rumors that the (7) instead used to be a BMT or IND line and that's why there is two divisions. A and B division. Is this true? I don't know actually..

  10.

The last video by Transport Net is when some R142's from the (2) or (5) or it was the time when the (3) had R142's. This happened somewhere in 2008 or 2009. I'm not so sure. Check the comments. Don't judge me much but I'm trying to get ideas since I don't know much about the MTA NYCT. Sorry Guys.Didn't mean to cause too much bothering. I just wanted to know more and better the MTA NYCT, Once again, so sorry guys.

  11. Thats the SDS visual test. It runs through all the numbers and all the shapes. There's a video of it somewhere. That's a regular service (6) train.

Darn it, though you were gonna fall for it.But the R142A's 1 train actually is real.

Some are not. But the (1) did run in rare occasions in the R142's same as the (3)
