How forgiving are they when qualifying are they at zerega? It's not normal for them to skip numbers...if I was you, depending on what you do during the day, try to call periodically and hopefully you'll get another person who's more polite. Worse comes to worse, I would go down there myself to see what the story is. Offhand, did you move recently? If so, have you checked the mail at your old address?
As far as the CDL road test, just do what the instructors at your driving school told you to do, have the pre-trip memorized, and don't be nervous...if you mess up a little, it's okay...once you get over 50 points, then you fail.
That wasn't the case for me...I originally had a Class A CDL with a Tank & Passenger Endorsement. When I went to the DMV in Jamaica to take the School Bus endorsement test on 6/4/15, it was then that they gave me the Class B CLP (Commercial Learners Permit) with the appropriate restrictions. I took a road test in a bus about two months afterwards, and now I have the Class A with all of the endorsements and a M restriction, respectfully.
Thank you!!
Well, from my experience and from what I read on this topic/thread, this is how it works:
Your first drug test is valid for thirty (30) calendar days. If you don't get called back within these 30 days, that's normal, since they try to eliminate some candidates this way. Once you get contacted for your second drug test, then they'll probably call you for medical within the thirty day period. On the day of your medical, if you pass and you're not put on medical hold, then you'll be sent for final processing, and if everything is good, then they'll give you a date on when to report to Zerega for training.
Now, as far as how much time it takes for them to call you back in between your first & second drug tests: I would say at least a month. As far as how much time it takes for you to take care of the medical hold: that's up to you. For me with my muscle spasm, I had to go to a neurologist and get some tests done. However, if it's something common or simple, a note or letter from your PCP (Primary Care Physician) might do the trick.
Hope this helps!

Thank youIt's not that it's hard, the trick is to pay attention and use what you are taught. Don't take the way superintendents treat you personal they can be very tough.

Is it hard to qualify?Days 1-5 you are taught how to drive the MTA way, in order to qualify on day 7 you have to be perfect on days 6-7. Otherwise day 8 you're retrained and qualifying day is 9, day 10 is last chance to qualify. If you fail you're asked to resign. Make sure your passenger endorsement has no restrictions.
