I’d suggest anyone reading this and in the process to double read your paperwork. Even the simplest things can not only cost you extra time, but can also cost you extra money.

All the data gets automatically stored into your CPAP. You're gonna have to wait to be called for medical again to show the MTA Dr the report you can print out once you do get called back.

Yea, crazy how doing something so simple can create problems like that. For me, side sleep is more of a nuisance than on my back... prob bc the side of the mask(where the tubing connects to the mask) hits the pillow or bed and makes it sound louder than it should be.

Bro this shit suuuuucks. I've slept on my stomach all my damn life and you can no longer do that when you get on the cpap. Gotta sleep on your back... side as well, if you can make it happen. Most likely. Think they give you 100 days to resolve the hold.

Got my name restored back on 4/19, emailed the lady a month after not hearing anything back and still nothing. Doubt that'll happen but you never know. List# 34xx.

Oral Proficiency Assessment...pretty sure they basically just want to hear and make sure you're able to speak loud and clear. Could be wrong though.

Just got the same call and text for the pre-employment. I'm also still waiting for my CPAP machine. Should be getting it in like 2 weeks. 

So just disregard this text since I'm already halfway through being medically cleared? Don't want them to take me off the list if that's a possibility if I don't report on 2/9.

The fact that you've been waiting to get into School car since the summer gives me hope. Happy for you. Been on medical hold since October smh

He prob did but must've been too bummed out to hear anything else after he said I was going to be put on medical hold lol thanks for the fast reply! 

 I apologize in advance if I'm going to ask a dumb question. So I went in for the sleep study on 10/16 and just got back from the Dr's after going over the results and I do in fact have a moderate case of sleep apnea. Was told that I'll be getting my CPAP machine in a couple of days. Does this mean that I cleared my medical hold? Or do I have to wait to email HR once I go back in 2 months after using the device to be considered cleared?

I feel your pain. Was suppose to be in the Nov 1st class(list# 34xx) but got put on medical hold bc of  my 18.5 inch neck smh. Everything was good EXCEPT my damn neck size and won't get my results back til the first week of Jan SMH. Praying that all who got put on this hold makes the cutoff cuz it's BS.
