Is it illegal for an MTA New York City transit employee to date a client, vendor, contractor, or other non-co-worker they interact with at their job?

It probably is going to be used for  service once the R262's start rolling in which makes a lot of sense. If that is the case, I speculate that the , , and  might be the ones receiving them while the , , and  get the R142/A's.

Add to it that they're all separate companies with different unions and ownership, and cross-division transfer isn't really something available. (NYCTA and the NYCT authorities are only run by , while Bus Co, B&T, and the railroads are owned by  but not actually merged together.

Geek mode: closest and simplest cognate is the Nissan-Renault-Mitsubishi alliance. Renault own a controlling share of Nissan, Nissan own a non-controlling share of Renault and a controlling share of Mitsubishi. They're all separate companies with separate employee groups, but coordinate ops and manufacturing and design so all three (eventually; Nissan and Renault do now) build most vehicles off common frames/platforms and share drivetrains, but factory workers at one can’t transfer to one of the others.

Am wondering what's the hiring process like for each of these agencies ?

I see that MTA agencies (MaBSTOA, Bus Co, and NYCT) within New York City jurisdiction are always hiring but, other MTA agencies (LIRR, MNR, SIRTOA) are never hiring, what's the story behind this? Also, I've realize how agencies (NYCT, BUS CO, LIRR, MNR, and MTA Bridges and Tunnels ) don't allow any transfers or promotion from one another's agency (NYCT to LIRR), what's the story behind this?

The R46 on the  runs a long distance from 207 to Far Rockaway and they don't break down, so why are the R46 on the  breakdown fast ?

If all R211 options are excercised and all delivered, how how that impact the current fleet operation in-terms who get what?

So Jamaica lends there r160s to  line, but under what occasion.

It's still a -owned organization like LIRR and MNRR, while NYCT is a -leased organization.

Based on the research and what I've read "This move followed the transfer of the Staten Island Rapid Transit from the New York City Transit Authority's Surface Transit Division to the Department of Rapid Transit on July 26, 1993" so I assumed that the SIR used to be part of NYCT.

That's where I live (Staten Island), I think I just came across a point where it used to be part of NYCT but than it separated.

First time riding one of these sets, always seen them in passing, but never rode on them.

How come only that car has blue LED lights but no the rest of the new tech fleets.
