We're still going to have a bus shortage no matter what. And considering we shouldn't be cutting service when ridership is coming back, it's the best solution, especially on the express side.

Some of those 2002 MCI's are good runners and don't give the depot much trouble (for example 2910). Not to mention MTA can't order more buses right now since they already did all the options from Prevost.

Although the I like the idea, why not pull out some of the 2007 CLs out of retirement if they were to take that route?

not for nothing, and I'm not calling myself or the author of the tweet an expert, but if anyone has ever owned a vehicle of any kind, you know for a fact that all it takes is driving thru a couple of inches of water to completely destroy an engine or transmission. so, if these 30 Castleton units (letalone ANY MTA buses) were in fact driven thru any amount of rain water (flooding), it would be safe to assume that the units in question are finished... as in totally destroyed. it's not worth any time or money to repair flooded vehicles.

I know there was a few buses flooded up the the height of the rear area (the step up area in the bus) so I wonder if those are done too

Yeah lol, I imagine these trains were in transport to (or at) NJ before that Subchat announcement was made on the 211's.

We were all wrong though, seems that the feat has been pulled off!

DJ Hammers (and two other channels, Mr. Railfan and ihasbeencensored) apparently caught it. Huge surprise

Yesterday DJ Hammers actually mentioned he would be premiering a special delivery at 10:30 on his community tab in Youtube. Perhaps they're doing it to build up hype, seems better to premiere it at 10:30, compared to releasing the video when nobody's awake.

Youtube premieres are pretty popular these days and most Youtuber's I watch have done at least one of them. FWIW, They aren't deleted after a while so you can watch them later on if you really need to.

Probably unrelated but they did it like that so everyone could get a equal share of views instead of just 1 person getting all the views
