  1. Haha, that will be a really nice early Christmas present for you.
  2. During the pre employment, the lady told me pass # is for people already on the job.
  3. 2600s most likely will be in DEC class from the look of it. Which is fine.
  4. I was wondering the same. Do they call people in for medical only 1-2 weeks before a class start? Do they send letter to the people they are not going hire? Either failed drug test or they dislike the information on the pre-employment?
  5. Haha, I was thinking maybe it is reduced pay during training. Like $20 or something. What is the drop out rate for training. Out of 100 people, how many failed or quitted.
  6. Best of luck for you. Call them, email them make you presence known. 😂.
  7. I know one classes started early this month. And from reading this forum. If remember correctly one class started at August. But situations are change daily. No one know exactly when is next class.
  8. 26xx here, then I guess I am not going to make it to Nov class. Since 23xx is still not finished medical. One class only 75 people right?
  9. Definitely, same for you. Sometimes they call people lower down the list first. You never know.
  10. Don’t think so, MTA is short on T/Os right now. Even considering cutting training time to speed up the process. I bet one to two months wait max for medical.
  11. Thank you. I suggest you edit out the last one or two #. To 25xx or 259x. You don’t want your real identity revealed. Lol. I took it one day after you, I am 26xx. Haha
  12. Anyone here received email for medical? And what is your list #?
  13. Their benefits look much better. Lol. What a week of typical work of schedules look like? Some morning shifts, some evening shifts and some night shifts? Or more consistent? If worked on weekend last week, would they schedule you off this weekend?
  14. Let’s discuss the positive side of things. I read online first year new MTA employees have 3 weeks of accrued vocation in first year. 4 weeks second year. Can you put in vocation request any time of the year? Is it easy to get approved? How about 12 paid holidays per year work? Is over time easy to get, or need to kiss some as to get? Lol.
  15. But from what I read there, it not the best choice to drive. Since beginning and ending location may be different. Let’s say beginning your shift at Coney Island, but ending your shift at 179th st Queen.
  16. Well, will definitely go sober if I ever become a T/O. I do need a big motivation to make me go sober completely. Getting this job will do it. Lol.
  17. Wow, after learning all of these details, this job does sound kind of stressful now. Lol. Even more stressful than when I was in military in some ways. Military is hard on drug also, zero tolerance, but alcohol is fine. Lots of hangover days and still work fine. But I guess not for this job.
  18. Mandatory 3 days off? paid or unpaid? Drug test after 12-9, why?
  19. So each shift starts and ends at the final station of each train? Never in between?
