Let's not post anything listed for scrap unless we are absolutely certain that it is listed to be.  So much misinformation being posted and can be rather confusing.  If there are parts are off of the bus then it is listed for scrap.  Radios and fareboxes can be pulled and replaced back into the buses if needed.  The OGs should be first out the door right now.  If the NGs are getting scrapped then they have a major issue with them.

    Why is 6080 which is an SBS Bus at BP?  They don't have any SBS routes there.  I hope it doesn't stay there for long.  I wonder if an artic bus will head to LGA? 

    They've been losing buses as of late:

    6258-6259 to JFK and now 6080 to BP. 

    And LGA lost 6 XD40s for training:

    7445 7448 7454 7461 7470 and 7481.

They really need to stop scrapping the NGs right now for the exception that it has a major problem.  These buses could fill in until whatever issue these newer buses have can be resolved.  They've been in such a rush to retire the NGs lately and they're leaving garages short of buses to make service.  Some of the buses listed for retirement just ran a week or 2 ago and could still be used.  

  4. More NGs sent to scrap and yet buses like 3581 3594 3623 and 3736 are kept running.  Some of them should've been sent to depots with OGs to get them out quicker.  They need to stop scrapping so many NGs before the OGs.  Why are they doing things so backwards?  These NG buses must be in really bad shape.  Can't wait for them to be all gone.
