  1. I just got the email to report back on April 25 to be considered for may 8th class
  2. There was no line to get into the building , that’s a first lol. Didn’t ask for ID or anything . Just sent me upstairs to the 5th floor . Just waiting to take the drug test again
  3. I go in tomorrow at 8am for pre employment , hopefully it isn't too long as the last time .

  9. Back in September 2022 i went for the pre employment process and took the drug test . I just received a email today to do the pre employment process again . there is no date on the email when to go in . do i need to fill out the entire job history and info all over again ? “PLEASE DO NOT REPLY TO THIS EMAIL MTA New York City Transit is considering you for a position as a Train Operator- Exam 7604, List # 58 and invites you to our facility at MTA 180 Livingston Street (between Smith and Hoyt Streets), 5th floor on at to start the pre-employment process.” missing the date

  11. it was said did said that candidates will be contacted 3 to 90 days after the 1st appointment
  12. **sorry for the crappy grammar** make sure you arrive earlier than the your posted time you walk in , make sure you have a mask on . show your ID and the CANVASS/APPOINTMENT email . they send you upstairs , your asked what job you are here for , you join a line . when its your turn you hand in the pre employment paper work . they tell you to sit down . then your name is called to join another line to fill out 2 sheets of paper work . Make sure your paper work is filed out and signed , all original docs ss card , diploma, birth certificate and so on. then you sit and wait for your name to be called to head to the lab for the drug test. your called to head to the lab ,you will be giving 2 sheets of paper work. they just need a small amount of info you wait in the lab room, your name is called , pee in the cup , sign the docs and go home . I was there from 6;15am until around 10ish am. bring a snack , you don't want to leave to get food. that's about it .
  13. Just got back from the pre employment appointment . Make sure you bring a mask. A few people were told to get off the line and get a mask .

  15. The form 49 cfr part 40 Drug and Alcohol Testing is to be filled out only if the candidate previous employer was DOT?
  16. I had to withdraw from the NYPD employment process years back , do i need to add that to prior employment termination sheet ? My Dad retired as a yard dispatcher A division years ago . Dose that add any weight to the employment process , just curious.
  17. Hello guys just got the letter to start the preemployment process , appointment is 11/9. Do I need to do the drug/alcohol test on my own before the appointment date? thanks
