  1. Study hard, memorize whatever material they give you. Take notes everywhere. The signal exam is the most important, memorize it and say it aloud, if you can spit it you can write it.
  2. Heads-up, a lot of you guys joining new classes will think that you secured the job, however that is only the case if you score 100 on both signal exams. You need a good track record, 90/100s on quizzes, good train control and know your job. I suggest you guys have a plan B in case you flunk the signal exam. Study hard and good luck!
  3. Well, I heard that A division had 14 out of 30 quits and failures after the new exam came out.
  4. The signal exams and quizzes are getting 5X harder now due to the previous corruption of shared information on exam material. People got fired and tests are made new every time one is administered. Whoever is lucky enough to get called next, study hard and make sure to constantly test yourself. Write things down, say it aloud and practice with your colleagues. Good luck folks!
  5. A few friends are in schoolcar. Ppl are dropping out because it’s a tough and fast paced course. Signal exams are 100% or termination. As ppl get terminated or resign, it opens up more spots for others.
  6. Last hires were in the #54XX there’s a class starting next week so you’re prob on the next class if you’re on the 3rd drug test
  7. BTW cell phone usage is only allowed during your authorized break time.. a TSS caught a T/O this week watching a movie in his cab while OPERATING.
  8. Hey guys like many had already said, read the books on your own time. Several hours a day. My induction was in January and it’s a fast paced course. As soon as you get that rulebook, memorize the 6 points of Restricted Speed and Extreme Caution. Search on Chegg for the signal definitions and get on it ASAP. You have to score a 100% on the 2 written signal exams to pass the entire course. Get a head start on the verbatim definitions of signals now and then you will focus on different types of car classes and how to prep them for yard movement and service. Good Luck!
  9. I had no issues. Try forwarding to another email address and use a different browser. Download adobe if you don’t already have it. Some are not fillable through adobe and some are. Read the directions carefully.. Sign But dont date
  10. I waited three days for the medical appointment. You should expect it by Monday or Tuesday.
  11. Re print the entire application and sign. Bring all required documents as well. I was 9/13 pre employment, did it again 1/6/23 and going in for medical 1/13/23. I am in for January 30th class. See ya soon!
  12. Hey do you happen to know how the list system works? Is there 10-20 people per list?
