Can any veterans in here say which Dental insurance is better? The one given out by the Union or the other that comes with the Aetna high option?

I went for medical yesterday and they did everything you said. Cleared medical, I was sworn in, did photo ID and fingerprints. I will be in the June 26th class. I walked in at 6:45am and was out of there by 3pm. Would have been out sooner, but I made a mistake and got the money order from western union instead of the Postal Office. They were nice enough to let me leave and walk to the post office around the corner to get one. Everyone be sure to get the money order from the post office, it is the only one the fingerprint office will accept. I want to thank everyone that has been answering my questions and everyone else's questions. It's been a great help and a great way to keep us calm and level headed lol. Good luck to everyone! I am scheduled for medical tomorrow, is there a number I can call to confirm my appointment?

Are they going to take another urine sample as well? I want to know how much water I should drink lol

Was Medical an all day process? Was it just answering some medical questions and getting your blood pressure checked?

I got the call to come in for medical June 5th. List number 62XX.

Got the email titled “MTA / NEW YORK CITY TRANSIT - APPOINTMENT TICKET/TRAIN OPERATOR - EXAM 7604”….to come in for 2nd pre-employment on 5/4 at 8am. I’m list #62XX…My first pre-employment was 11/28. Is this a real email this time?

I got a stupid question…..I already did day one processing…waited in line….saw someone….waited….showed my credentials….waited more…showed more creds….waited more and then was called in to take the drug test. Told to wait to hear about medical up to 90 days. My question is, if there was something to keep them from allowing you to go forward like tickets or something would they let you know while you are doing all that waiting? Or if you made it to the part of waiting for medical, there is nothing to keep you from moving forward (Of course not passing the medical would)?

Completed day one today, did all the paperwork and got the drug test done. Then they told us within 3 to 90 days to look for someone to reach back out. Does this mean the background check and driving history check was completed? Would they let you get to the drug test step if there were any issues? They don’t give much information as far as where in the process you are.

I have pre-employment Monday. Anyone know what I should wear? Is there a dress code to follow or just whatever you are comfortable in?

What does the interview consist of? Are they asking you what you would do in certain situations? Because we all never had T.O. Experience prior.

If you don’t pay same day, will you have a chance to pay it and then complete the process or will you have to go back to the waiting list?
