And technically that's not so easy. Standing in place for hours. I'm more of a pacer. I'd like to avoid moving into the third rail accidentally. I'd guess I'd need some training standing in place. That third rail has me worried.

What type of experience do they accept for Revenue Equipment Maintainer? Can you get there from being a helper, if not what types of jobs work?

Anymore details. I'm worried about going on the actual tracks as well. This is a dangerous job. Especially above ground, I'd like to avoid the heights thing. Is there actual report writing?

So I applied for the electrical helper position but nervous about the whole situation. Any electrical helpers, what is the job like? What are they expecting for you to know? And what is the training like?
