Not off all holidays, we had class on Thanksgiving & I believe New Years. We were off Xmas. Hours vary Depending on your instructor…. Some days we had 5a-1pm and Xmas Eve we did 4a-12p

Hi, yes I was called 3 times and finally went for it & I’m almost done training. If you’re still active once they get to the bottom of the list they normally start over again from the very top of the list and start calling ppl that were deferred on the wait list for whatever reason.

Yes you definitely have lots of days in the Bronx… I keep hearing school car is the hardest part of it. Once you’re done it gets better. I’m now YXing and my schedule is still bouncing all around so I’m always tired. Good luck to anyone just coming in ! Definitely mind over matter just keep telling yourself it will get better.

Our TSS also liked early days so 5a-1p, 6a-2p, 7a-3p but road days are later because you’re not able to get a train to practice on during rush hour. Leaving to get back to the island at those times is nothing but traffic.

Hi, I’m in school car now and you’re definitely bouncing around daily ! I never looked at my schedule because our instructor would txt us at night and switch locations for the following morning. I’m in B division and luckily we’ve been able to park close to most yards and park in some of the yards. I have a few classmates that are from Staten Island as well so just be prepared to leave at least 2/2.5 hours earlier than your report time. U wanna make sure you’re on time and find parking if you’re driving.

I looked all over for a gray shirt like even in the men’s department in several stores and NOTHING ! I hope they don’t say anything to me about it and my boots need to be exchanged 😩 this is a lil overwhelming right now.

Hello Ppl, Anybody know the dress code for training class ? I remember a friend of mine had a uniform but I don't remember how long it took her to get it after training started.

This was actually the third time they reached out to me to come in for pre employment. The first time was early 2022 then maybe 5 months later and now. I had a lot going on both times so I figured I’d go for it now.

Oh ok, medical was completed & a success today. Suppose to return today for final processing. Thanks a bunch !

Hi, When does this measurement happen ? I did the medical but wasn't measured. Does it happen the day of final processing ?
