Yes, i heard they are trying to get rid of the elevator mechanics also. I will take the bus maintainer exam again next time it comes out just to stay on the list in case something happens. I have a freind who is a bus maintainer in Mabstoa . Ultimately like you i would like to be a car inspector. I was a car maintainer f in the early 90s and was dumb enough to leave the job, They have since done away with that title also and all those guys became car inspectors although they can only work in the truck shop.
