I happen to pass by Coach USA – Paramus Garage (Community Coach) when I noticed lots of NABIs & MCIs, few Bluebirds, and not too many NOVAs. I only saw 1103, 1521, 1538, 2540 - 2542, 2547 - 2554. I also noticed that MCI # 8785 parked next to the fence looked like it was involved in a fire. I seen a blue tarp covering the rear of the bus that looked burnt and the passenger windows were broken!

Last night, spotted #6216 working on the RT 107 line.

Today, spotted #6222 working on the Rt 116 line.

 

That's a #22 Hillside Academy NJT NABI. I think that #6206-6223 are also #22 Hillside NJT NABIs, correct me if I am wrong.

#6216, #6217, #6218, #6221, #6222 are owned and operated by NJT. It is written on the right side bottom after the front wheel. Also, I seen NJT bus operators in uniform driving these buses.

Last night, spotted 6217 & 6218 heading to the Lincoln Tunnel. Today, spotted 6222 in New York. All are owned and operated by NJ Transit but I don't know what depot because they all had "Not In Service" sign.

 

Say what? I was just by Route 9 and didn't notice any buses with the depot stickers...

 

Some of the 74xx, 79xx, and 82xx have the garage depot decal next to the door.

The CNGs, 70xx do not have it.

 

Probably the "transit on patrol" sticker, like SirJokaPlaya said only 8202 has it and I've never seen that bus in person.

 

NO! I also seen this week Howell buses are starting to get the garage emblem, next to the front door!

I haven't seen any CNG buses with it.

Fairview received 3 more Neoplans - #9505 - #9506 - #9507.

NJT NABI #5226 was spotted yesterday morning working on the Rt 123 line. That too must be Meadowlands.

Spotted last night in NY(PABT) NABI #5226 working on the Rt 126 line.

Seen MCI #8857 with Lakeland Logo

Will get to it this weekend. Remind me of the route changes in case I forget since the 42, 75, and 93 (as well as another line) is dead and the 48 is Ironbound.

 

The other line is 43.

Also, the 128 is back @ Fairview for now (between 10:30AM - 3:00PM inbound to NY PABT).

NABIs 6058, 6083, 6123, 6126 are @ Community Coach (Coach USA).

I seen Nova 1031 & 1035 in black and white, without NJT paint stripes. Does Academy still have them and what are they using them for?

1017 is @ Academy Perth Amboy. Seen it @ Woodbridge working on the Rt 810 line.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I saw a post that Monmouth County NJT Buses (Operated by Veolia Transportation) is now starting to recieve their NABIs starting with I believe 6118, 6119 or 6120. Is that true?

6120 is @ Community Coach (Coach USA)

Only routes you can ride that dont do exact fares is the buses out of Fairview Depot

 

How about Market Street and Meadowlands? Routes 171, 175, 178, 181, 182, 186, 188.

Ok something interesting i saw while i was at the supermarket in irvington on Springfield Ave.

 

While i was finishing up paying for the stuff i happened to look at the windows and all i see is a MCI D4000 Cruiser driving on by i'm thinking like ok? why would a MCI be here in irvington then when i got to the irvington bus terminal i saw that same one parked there and i got a closer look and saw that it said "Student Driver" on the back and the Number was 7950.Its times like this i wish i randomly had the camera on me so i could of took a picture lmao but yeah i wanted to share that.

 

And oh yeah i saw 5979 and 5993 on the 25 while i was there to.

 

Last time I recall, NJT Instuctors take their students to one of the two places to train their students: Meadowlands, parking lot next to the stadium or a huge parking lot in Irvington, where they practice driving w/cones set up around the area. Meadowlands is their first choice. If Meadowlands is pre-occupied with an activity, then Irvington is the second choice. I believe MCI 7950 still belongs to the same garage listed on the roster.

2008-09 NABI 416.15 Suburbans #5243, #5297, #5298, & #5299 are no longer @ Fairview.

There used to be 156R's on Saturdays but there wasn't really any people coming in. The 123 on an Artic would be great but the main problem would be turns, mainly ALL the turns. From NY: the turn from 31st and Palisades is not a easy one since the turning radius is closer, so you might hit that sign on the left side. Then turning the bus around by turning R on Jefferson, L on Baldwin, L on Beacon, L on Palisades is NOT easy. You have double parked cars on Baldwin, and it is VERY tight. To NY: Congress and Palisades, turning to the HBLR station, that is not a easy turn too since you have cars, deadheading buses, live buses coming from those directions. You have to get out of the way or cars have to move so you can get through. And, unless you place the 123 on another gate like the 200 gates where the gate will fit an articulated bus, not a chance. 126 can do it and should do it, but again, they need to move that bus to a different gate to be able to do it, which they can't at this time.

 

The 156R still runs on Saturday and does carry a good load of people. Four A.M. trips to NY and four P.M. trips leaving NY.

3 More NJT NABI Suburbans are @ Fairview Garage; #5243 (Formerly Greenville) & #5297-5298 (Formerly Meadowlands), those buses have the farebox covered with a Yellow Bag.

 

NJT NABI Suburbans #5243, #5297, #5298, & #5299 are temporarily loaners at Fairview until they finish updating the Clever Device on the Fairview NABIs. The Fairview buses are being transported to and from a Clever Device Facility in Pine Brook, NJ.

Wayne Garage: 8856 is a 2003 MCI D4000 Cruiser, not a D4500.

Coach USA – Paramus Garage (Community Coach) has a few NABIs sitting in back. You can see them when you are driving up Rt 17 North. A better view is if you go onto Pleasant Ave. right off Fairview Ave. The five I had seen are #s 6057, 6059, 6061, 6062, 6063.

There were a couple R/T buses at CC. I didnt get the numbers yet.

I drove by the Academy Bus Depot in Hoboken yesterday and noticed that they had NABI #6041 & #6043!

7778 was working on the Rt 165 and it had the Oradell logo on it. So now we can confirm that 7778, 7779, & 7780 are @ Oradell.

Route 12 under Coach USA (Elizabeth)...wasn't that bus discontinued and merged into the 24?

I heard the same, that is why there is a 24A and 24B.

I'm trying to find a schedule for Rt 12 and it does not exist.
