You mean MetLife can't afford to make the same mistake....because NJT had a ton of buses ready, and their trains were ready as well. MetLife is to blame for the whole thing, not NJ Transit.

MetLife management probably assumed that everyone drove and had "shocked Pikachu" faces when they learned that lots of folks didn't.

Yeah, the #178 & the #182 are the GWB-Hackensack routes... 182 is more direct, while the 178 diverts up to serve Teaneck & Englewood... They even interline w/ each other.

I would renumber the GWB routes into the 270-280 series. That would free up the 170's and 180's for variants of the 150-160 or 190 series routes.

(Bx4)/4A/(Bx11)the Bx4A continues to be crowded from Parkschester to Westchester Sq while the Bx4 tanks out at Parkschester this is why I think that the Bx4 should be rerouted on Metropolitan Av and have the Bx4A deleted. Last of all I would have the Bx11 extended on Westchester Av (This idea also comes from Mystic Transit).  To sum it up:

    • Bx4: The Hub - Westchester Sq (via Metropolitan Av)
    • Bx11: Westchester Sq - Washington Hts

Isn't the Bx11 long enough already?

(Bx15)/(Bx15LTD)extended to Lga (there's no explanation needed) I'm not the first person to propose this but I've been thinking about this for a long time.

    Not every trip, right?

(Bx27)/(Bx35)For whatever reason the (Bx35)tends to have a weird terminal in my opinion my first thought was to have it end at Westfarms Sq but the Bx36 serves there then I chose to stole another Idea from Mystic Transit to combine the (Bx27)with the (Bx35)at 169st to give a one seat ride to the heights.

One uses standard buses, the other uses articulated. Which fleet would this route use, and how reliable would it be given its length?

  4. does anyone remember a B-33 that went towards hanson pl in down town brooklyn?(V)

You might be thinking of the old B19 Carlton/Adelphi:

    - From Hanson & Ashland (next to the LIRR) via Hanson Place, Greene Avenue, left Carlton Avenue, right Flushing Avenue, right Grand Avenue, to Park Avenue (under the BQE).

    - From Grand & Park via Park Avenue, right Ryerson Street, left Flushing Avenue, left Adelphi Street, right DeKalb Avenue, left Ashland Place, to Hanson Place.
