  1. Can anybody give me a number who I can call and speak to about me taking off this list for unknown reason?? I been a B/O going on 5 years and found out I was disqualified from this exam. If anyone have info where I can call and find out why can you please inbox me a number.

  2. Good afternoon my fellow Co workers and members can anyone help me I'm currently on the train op exam, where I just called and found out that they marked me ineligible for the position. Those anybody know who can I speak to cause dcas is not giving me rep to talk to, was wondering if anybody have a direct number I can call so I can talk to somebody ??

  3. if it is OA/ MCI D4500  the depot I mean that Eastchester Depot or Yonkers Depot at East New York Depot  for maintenance... Some say OA/ that Eastchester Depot or Yonkers Depot not supposed be their East New York Depot for maintenance ... They got Zerega Avenue Depot to handle OA/ MCI D4500 that Eastchester Depot or Yonkers Depot for maintenance  not at East New York Depot .. That another mistake ...

    WTF is all I have to say....

For me this is like the back door to this position.....for ta you need to take an exam and pass and be put on a list, than take the boss exam......for this you send in the money.....get a list number and wait to be called...than take the boss exam and wait to be called for processing....this worked for me...I wish they would had told me the difference from mta bus and oa....but I am on one for 7 years now and the union is pushing for equal pension as oa......so 13 more and out....best of luck to all who apply!

    Well I had better luck I was with MTA Bus for two years back in 2011 did a year in LG and a year at EC, when TA called me which I started in aug I got the hell out of there and was lucky to still be placed under the old contract i didn't even care about the two years I lost.
  5. I knew that one day the the Q29 and Q72 will move to CP I was just thinking about it a few days ago. What will LGA get in return the Q64?

    The Q29 and Q72 are not base out of CP, what it is that LGA are short on buses as always, so they have runs base out of LGA  where the drivers have to pick up and drop off the bus to and from CP.

  6. Q53 is an LGA line, so artics can't run on that line. 

    Damn, that is confusing. And all this while the 9700s haven't been touched since all the ex-QSC RTSs were retired. What's the MTA saving that number set for? The person that made the change preventing the 6000s o5s from being renumbered to the 9700s should be demoted for causing this mess. At least if they had the lfsa up to just 6099 and then gone back to the 5200s, they wouldn't have to renumber so many artics. The renumbering of the 600 O5s makes sense as to keep all the c40lfs together, so that's the one change i'm fine with. But really the MTA should just number the bus fleet by their makers instead of keeping everything under the 100-'9999' number set.

    Artics can run on the Q53, a couple of weeks ago a friend of mines gave me a call and told me they had a artic in depot doing a dry run which performed well, later down the line LG might see artics on the Q53.

  7. This is off topic but about time NYCT is adding MTAB into the mix with the shuttle work, i was shocked when i heard MTAB was involved in the Brooklyn-Manhatten shuttle run. Sometimes i feel if MTAB is invisible when it comes to NYCT, Im also shocked when they added MTAB routes into MTA bus time. But back on topic, its going to be very interesting to see artics out of FB depot.

  8. B103 could go to Gleason since it runs nearby. Q8 to Spring Creek, B47 back fulltime to Flatbush, B4 back to Ulmer Park, B65 back to Gleason, B2 to Ulmer Park, B31 to Ulmer Park, B39 (when it returns) go to Grand Ave, B62 to Fresh Pond and BX23 to Casey Stegel.

     

    Why in the world would the Bx 23 go to casey stengel, when thats a bx route, you meant to say the Q50.
  9. I remember when CP had a whole lot of routes and buses. So they move these express buses just to make LGA all Local. The Q38,QM10/QM11 and Qm12 and QM24/25 are not even close to CP.

    CP is a huge Depot so why not just let CP have the Q19 Q66 we take the Q38 and have the Q50 split again. I find it kinda dumb that CP could only have the Q25/34 Q64 and Q65 and is the biggest out of all the depots in Queens.

     

    That BP situation with the Hybrids makes sense in a way. BP is a small depot just like SC and FR why not just let it be all hybrid.

    The thing with CP they trying to turn that depot into a mainly express depot. As far as the QM24/25 not being no where near CP, technically yes it is both CP and LG depot is near the van wyck which basically is about the same distance if you was to DH to and from.
