As is posted in the title, I'm not a resident of NYC but always enjoy visiting whenever I get a chance. I am always fascinated by the public transportation there and was hoping to get some suggestions as to the best ways of using it to get around in the city. I'm from Temple, TX, a city/town of about 60,000 in central Texas.
