New Flatiron eatery's starchy treat with tons of truffles costs a steep $55

The potato has a humble reputation, but there's one starchy Manhattan spud that'll set you back $55.

It's not the Yukon itself that's so expensive - it's the truffles on top.

"It elevates something that people might consider pedestrian," said Jeffrey Crawford, executive chef of Totally Baked, a restaurant that opened this week at 8 W. 18th St. in Manhattan's Flatiron District. "It's comfort food, but taken to a higher level."

A side salad balances out the meal.
