Pakenhamtrain Posted May 16, 2012 Share #1 Posted May 16, 2012 From the ABC: RailCorp split as NSW takes different track By Sarah Gerathy Updated May 15, 2012 11:14:29 New South Wales train agency RailCorp is to be split in two, as the State Government also moves to slash hundreds of jobs. The move will be the biggest shake-up of the state's rail network in decades. Transport Minister Gladys Berejiklian says NSW Trains will service regional customers while Sydney Trains will caters for metropolitan commuters. http://www.abc.net.a...t-track/4011478 No doubt the 75 million saved no doubt will be wasted introducing new logos, uniforms and signage. Oh and the wages of management of the new train presentation area. Mind you in the times I've been to Sydney I can't say the trains were dirty at all. Better than Melbourne's by far.
