kmarq4ever 0 #1 Posted June 19, 2012 So my posts have a pretty one tracked theme being that I was the kid who loved getting the yellow receipts on the bus when I got on. As I grew, I became more aware of the process of actually printing the tickets on the old registers, but my question to NJT drivers (after riding plenty of other public transportation) is ... Are your Fare collection/recording procedures much more elaborate than most other companies, and why (if so)? I feel like even when I've ridden buses in NC or elsewhere something more advanced than the Coach USA GFI Boxes or the boxes Academy contract buses use, the drivers rarely have to take time to put in so much information (zones, classes, transacation types, overrides, etc)...
