alekr Posted August 28, 2012 Share #1 Posted August 28, 2012 I noticed from those 4 fastracks each of them are very unique: 6th Avenue Fastrack- Shortest fastrack only 6 stations closed or 7 if Grand Street is closed. The D rerouting into interesting patterns (Whitehall-South Ferry then changing to West 4th Street) 7th Avenue Fastrack- The 5 is extended so people can get to Midtown quickly. Ideal for those commuters who need to get to Grand Central at 3am 8th Avenue Fastrack- The A & E lines are local not running expresses ending the express service earlier. The E runs to Hudson Terminal similar to 1954 pattern. Lexington Avenue Fastrack- The 3 is extended so people can get to Upper West Side quickly. Ideal for those who need to get to Upper West Side at 3am.
