Interesting Tidbits Of Each Fastrack

Recommended Posts

I noticed from those 4 fastracks each of them are very unique:

6th Avenue Fastrack- Shortest fastrack only 6 stations closed or 7 if Grand Street is closed. The D rerouting into interesting patterns (Whitehall-South Ferry then changing to West 4th Street)

7th Avenue Fastrack- The 5 is extended so people can get to Midtown quickly. Ideal for those commuters who need to get to Grand Central at 3am

8th Avenue Fastrack- The A & E lines are local not running expresses ending the express service earlier. The E runs to Hudson Terminal similar to 1954 pattern.

Lexington Avenue Fastrack- The 3 is extended so people can get to Upper West Side quickly. Ideal for those who need to get to Upper West Side at 3am.

Cool story. Next time, keep it in the main FASTRACK thread.
