titanium ally Posted March 25, 2013 Share #1 Posted March 25, 2013 hey guys my sister works out of spring creek and as you know they are the only depot that has part -time operators. Today she called me and said they are no longer hiring full time operators as well as no longer promoting the part timers unless jfk needs some. as it stands they are only 11 pct of the runs but from what she is being told mta wants to up it to 25 pct on the next contract, and how every full timer that leaves, fired, retires, his run is divided up n given to the part timers in 4 hr pieces. the runs are being shredded and supposedly there are at least 40 more scheduled to arrive soon. my question is should she and the other full timers be worried about whats going on???
