MTA turns to technology to fight the rain

 

The MTA rapped its own knuckles in a report released Thursday about last month's subway-crippling downpour, promising to communicate better while coming up with creative ways to keep more water out of the system.

 

The report proposes solutions to lags or complete failures of communication both within the agency and to its customers during the Aug. 8 storm.
