Thanks I hope everyone gets good news soon. I would love to be in class with people I know...kinda lol

Hope you don't get stuck in the three drug test loop like me - I went Tuesday for my third. Hoping for April, but they had told me it might be May, which is why they sent me for another test - I took my 2nd on 2/7.

I've been compulsively email stalking - maybe some good news later/Monday or Tuesday? :P

  2. N1CKR, all the pre-employment letter says is "we're considering you for a provisional position as station agent", there's no conditions, unless you consider the showing up at 180 and peeing in a cup a condition of employment, which it is lol - until they publish the list everyone has to get hired as provisional.

What they're waiting for in publishing it I don't know since people have list numbers on their pre-employment letters - which is why I think they have it and are just sitting on it.

Pre-employment is by mail, final processing is apparently by email, although last week I got a phone call about coming in for the third drug test.

The OPA is half memory half something else, its hard to gauge cause we are the first to take it, could be looking for speech efficiency,  could be looking for accuracy, who knows

Seemed to me that the first part is to weed out the people who are going to get directive from RCC and then have zero retention skills.

The 2nd part, since they  tape recorded your answers was probably a combination of common sense testing your reaction to situations and how clearly you can speak...because we all know there are conductors that have no business making announcements because they don't enunciate, etc.

It may have been pass or fail but how can a official list be created without EVERYONE taking it. What if i had 100 and failed the opa? Does that mean someone that got a 85 that didnt even take it has a better chance than me? I just feel opa isnt accounted for because EVERYONE didnt take it

Why are they going to waste their time and the time of the person whose list number is 25xxx by making them pay $25 for an extra layer of testing for something they have no hope of being called for?

All it means if you took the OPA and bombed it enough to fail is they'll disqualify you and move on with the list.

I got 1,xxx and only scored 96.25 I wouldn't think a 3 point different would make your number jump more than 9,000

I got the same score and mine is 25xx - and took the OPA in November. Go figure.

I would get on the phone with them and ask around - I got burned in the hiring process for stations with them sending my final processing email to an address 1 letter off from what mine actually is - so now I'm still stuck in the waiting game for that, got sent for my THIRD drug test yesterday...and allegedly I would have been in December's class...so it's worth a shot to see if the letter legitimately got lost in the mail.

  6. As far as I know (according to my initial pre-employment letter) my list number is literally 5...I would hope April but we shall see!

Go figure, I called yesterday to make sure the email mis-transcription didn't happen again and they had nothing to tell me :P

  7. Bah, figures. At this point I just want to get started. Since they processed you for April already, I hope they don't leave me hanging for a couple weeks. I'm still calling them if I hear nothing by next week since they already messed it up once for me.

Today was basically a repeat of 10/30 except I was done by 10:20 which was nice. Got the stock "2-90" after checking in after finishing with the lab. There were a couple other ladies there for their 2nd pee test, and another one was in the same boat as me with a lost final processing email.

  8. Welp...for those keeping track at home: went 10/30 for pre-employment...waited and waited, called mid-January and was told hiring was frozen. Drug test expired last week so I called AGAIN and the lady pulled my file...turns out they mis-transcribed my email, sent the offer email to an address a letter off, which never kicked back for the...December class...so as far as they were concerned I got the email and ignored it.

Thankfully the woman I spoke to is sending me down today - I have to fill out the 5pg packet again since they "filed it", (good thing I made copies) and then I'm supposed to impress upon them that I'm there for a 2nd drug test (reiterated several times so I know to beat that fact into their heads). Sounds like if this gets resolved in a timely fashion I'll be in the 3/12 class since she also brought that up.

Hopefully I'm out by 11am again. We shall see!

  9. The first drug test is about to expire - and would be no good on February 5th. I've been told that you have to actually start schoolcar with unexpired drug test results, since obviously after you're hired they can send you for a random when they want...hopefully they call you back for actual swearing in soon.

  10. FWIW I gave them a call this morning to see if I could find out what was going on since there's 2 weeks left on the drug test I took in October.

    "Hiring is on hold"

Hopefully they figure out this station ambassador stuff soon - I know that pilot is a dumpster fire in terms of getting existing station agents to participate, but damn I'd gladly do it - hope this freeze isn't long.

I was at pre-employment on 10/31 and had the drug test still waiting for the email. Drug test runs out at the end of Jan does anyone know what happens if it runs out or you don't get called in the 90-day (I know for sure that I passed the drug test). I know that some other people in the forum are in the same boat as me. Anyone hear anything yet?

Other half tells me they can send you again to go pee in the cup, which thankfully is not the all day affair pre-employment is. Hopefully we get called before that!
