Any ideas why the MTA specced a lift at the back of the O5s as opposed to the front like Bee-Line did?
maybe because of the sides seats that fold near the back door like RTS.

Nice to have you back, man.
Anyway, it's because the software doesn't know when the bus will arrive, just how far away the bus is. There are a lot of variables like traffic, passenger loads, and the driver themselves (some drive fast, others drive more cautiously), so there's no way of knowing the exact time. It can estimate it, maybe using the leader's time between points, but what happens if suddenly things change (the B/O hits traffic or something)?

Hmm...a random thought. How come bus time doesnt show the time schedule for when the bus is going to arrive...for xample...S53...SAND LA HYLAN BLVD....8:03am 8:13am etc...maybe too much? since it shows time on the BusStopPole

Im on 417 on the B70...this bus is amazing! i can here the transmission nice and smooth....relaxing....smooth ride...not like the 200s with ths chainsaw sound when pulling off..

As the administrator of the TTMG depot, we do not add a bus onto the roster until its counted IN SERVICE. It can be at the depot but if its not in passenger service yet, we do not add it.
The MTA is good for moving equipment around after a fresh delivery. So until its shows up in the database as in service OR is spotted and reported by someone on a line, you wont see it on the TTMG roster...and as of 3 minutes ago, the database does not show them as service ready yet.

No I don't be stalking their buses...I just go take a look around all the depots once and a while mainly in Staten Island and brooklyn.
Oh , sometimes i see somebody walking back and fourth by the gate & theyre looking at the buses back and fourth. But i saw them inside a few days ago they were sitting in the back being worked on but the new flyer technicians.
Lol I don't think it would be me as I see people walking over there all the time, mainly B/Os.

You Went By There Yourself To See? 441 & 42 & 44 Been Came To The Depot But They Were Just Hidden Inside Where You Can't See Them.
Sorry for the confusion, not today I saw them but as today they are there, I believe a couple of days ago maybe around Thursday or Friday, they were seen, yes by me, by the depot

I have a random thought to ask...how does the MTA choose if a bus is good for the city? because i read about these extra C40LFs for MTA bus thats set to replace the Orion VII 3G CNG order. and some people want the C40LFRs and some want the C40LFs. But they say that the C40LFR is not approved for city streets? im confused on how the different face is important.

Ok so according to this tread, im gonna give an update to the JG depot. ttmg roster says up to 440 on the C40LFs but 441-442 were seen at the depot today.

Lol i figured out IIRC though i thought the R was "remember". One that i cant seem to figure out is AFAIK. That kills me. anyone know?
