<315 -- Going in tomorrow. Thank me if you get called since I'm declining

Hey guys. Thanks to all who took time to answer questions and provide all the information here. And congrats to all who've been called in. I've been lurking on the forums for the past 3 years since I took the test and just registered. I'm listed in the low 300's and received the letter as well to come in this week. It's very unfortunate, but with plans I have upcoming for the summer of 2013, I won't be able to take the position at the moment. If I were to receive this letter this time next year, I would take it in a heartbeat. I currently have a stable job, so I can't complain. BUT, I still want to be a TO. So onto my question(s). What is the difference between declining via mail and declining at pre-employment interview? Will I stilI listed if I decline by letter? Which is better? What are the chances of being called back if I decline now? Thanks in advance.
