    No need for that tho bro.. I follow the forum well I know my post is late... But if you really can read it really pertaining to the moves and how the numbers DON'T add up...

    If Jamaica is sending out RTS and NG and only getting back LFS'S..

    That's a shortage unless they are losing a route

    Unless QV plans to send them 8015-8089... We'll see what happens tho

  2. In my opinion the Q6 doesn't need Artics. It's the Q111/113 that need them. Woah buses at its third stop is packed to the door. The Q6 could use extended LTD times.

    I can agree with you on this one... The Q113 needs them more so than the 111

    But really why haven't they run on the Q60 yet ?

    Of all routes out of JFK... That should have had first priority on Artics IMO

  3. Um...the LAST stop of the Q17 lays over there now just at the corner...the northside corner where the Q6, Q8, Q9 and Q41 make the right turn at. That was due to the Q44 getting artics and needed to layover space to accommodate them along with the Q20A and Q20B. Therefore, the FIRST stop for the Q17 was pushed back to the southside of Jamaica Av near the corner of Merrick Blvd. In plain English, the Q17 drops off, then crosses Jamaica Av to pick-up at the first stop.

     

    Also, thanks to Cait Sith with the photos...the Q6 looks good in the terminal.

    I'm talking about before the light on Merrick Blvd and Jamaica... Not the same side as the Q20 and 44

  4. That's actually not true, they enter and back up fine out of 165. There are some videos online with the artics being tested at 165.

    I have yet to see them testing in 165th Terminal... Nor have I seen YouTube footage of an Artic going in and out of 165th.... You could be right but I would love to see proof

    I was told my info from higher ups in MTAB... Artics can run the on the Q6... It's pulling in and pulling out of 165th with its slanted pull in spots that leave terrible blind spots for the 60ft bus... It's not safe

    They are trying to figure out where to a put a stop for them over there... My guess is it would probably be the corner of Merrick Blvd and Jamaica Ave... Nothing stops there

  5. LGA should be getting the artics now... don't get me wrong JFK needs them too but they got theirs already on the Q10 and I believe the Q6 is also slated to start running them soon. That Q70 won't sit well with the hybrids, and the Q53 desperately needs them.

    The only reason they haven't been seen on the Q6 is 165th Terminal... They still haven't figured where to place a new bus stop

    Artics cant fit in 165th

    I would think they would've started out on the Q60 before any route but that's just my IMO

  6. I saw 5051 on 21st Street by Queensbridge Houses the other day smh....

    Why on earth would they send them 1999 Novas....

    LGA should have 96 Novas and Orion VII OG's

    I would swap the NG's with JFK for more OG's

    I know a few Road Ops for MTAB and they told me the low down about LGA... " foam in the fareboxes "... " take out 5 bolts put back 4 " I could go on and on but I won't

  7. I don't remember seeing 5028 and 29 in Jamaica although I could be wrong... I do remember a while back when they did have 5xxx's .... They 5025 to 5039.... But those went back to Manhattan and eventually Brooklyn

    Leaving them with just 5037 and 5038

    According to TTMG 5028-5029 have been there for a while now.... TTMG is a creditable source

  8. And? Regardless of the fact, they're on loan to JFK and it's been established that SC and JFK will be cycling buses for FR routes. If a bus is not assigned to JFK, it's not moving. Save me the heartache.

    SevenEleven.... ALL Im saying in a nutshell is state it on TTMG...  make it known to those WHO DONT know.. thats all.... all heartache is spared lol

  9. no no no the jfk drivers are told to report to spring creek and buses are fueled there or if im not mistaken there is a cng fuel station near jfk

    I live BY the Depot.... hence the name JFK Depot.... they house all CNG's.... they DONT go back to Bklyn.... what they did was operator train on them... for those ops who never drove a CNG before.... but they house them right across the street from the main parking lot... directly behind McDonalds on Farmers Blvd... ride by there at night you'll see everything special in that yard... CNG's and maybe a D60HF... last time I walked over there which was last week.. thats what I saw... mind you Im 5 blocks from the depot

    Oh yes and there is a CNG fueling station in JFK airport which they use to refuel

  10. Not necessary, they will be returning in like 2-3 months time, which can elapse quickly.

    LOL @ 2-3 months.... 

    there are people who follow the boards and may think they are still in SPRING CREEK when in fact they arent.... all im saying is this... if your gonna do a roster.... do it all the way correctly.... if JFK has CNG's right now... list it... thats all 

    weither or not they stay or go...thats NOT important... whats important is WHERE they are at NOW plain and simple
