So I am list #87* and I was originally called in August but I didn't have my permit. Came back in 3 days and they said processing stopped. Well I am here today at 180 livingston hoping to get in next training. The house is full and I heard there is a training on 10/31 and 11/14.

Thanks for the info 161 NEW YORK.Just called and it says I am but it's updated as of 8/29 so I will try again Tuesday and call. I went on 8/29 and 9/2

Congrats!! So I went back today as told with pemit and was told they stopped processing. Now I have to wait to be called again when someone fails the processing or other operators move up or retire or die, their exact words

So have to come back with permit by next week to make it into 9/19 class or would have to wait for October. Oh by the way for everyone my list #is 87*

Thanks the good thing today is most people here are for conductor and train operator. Still concerned about permit and if they want my entire work history. I know the last 10 years but before that it's difficult to determine employers and dates

I know this has been asked before but can't find it. Do they really need every employer since high school and if so how do you get that. I'm 41 and can only remember the last 10 years, the reStI couldn't remember dates and may have forgotten jobs in between.

Well they are starting the process today even though I missed Friday. Don't have permit yet because I have had it expire twice already and didn't want to get too early. Any idea what's going to happen from this point?

Quick question. I got a letter yesterday to go for processing for yesterday because they sent it to old address even though I changed my address in January and have gotten other letters from them since then to new address. Now that I missed yesterday, what can I do I've been waiting years for this.

I'm testing on the 15th and it also says written for an hour and a half. I miss the test and dont't have the book what would be the best way to prepare in a week. I know this sucks and very unprepared please anyhelp will appreciated
