  1. Actually Bus Operator exam 4600 is TA which is Brooklyn,Queens, and Staten Island Division the only TA depot in Manhattan was 126th st which is closed now here is the deal if you are TWU local 100 this where it gets confusing you are allowed to pick into OA depots when the GP is held and vice versa for OA operators if you decide during training that you want to transfer to Queens or Staten Island you would be represented by ATU 1056 Queens and ATU 726 Staten Island and you're there until you retire
  2. Wrong wrong area please delete and refer any questions that you may have to the employment section of the forums which you will find at the bottom of the webpage
  3. I thought that's where you wanted to go I could be wrong
  4. He's looking to get into Michael J. Quill Depot
  5. if you aren't quite sure the best way to go about it would be to call your old employer(s) ask for HR and ask to speak to someone about employment verification
  6. They implemented this rule in March whereas if there is a suspension on your abstract you won't go forward with pre-employment until the suspension falls off of the abstract in prior years this wasn't an issue this only pertains to Buses and not Subways from my understanding
  7. DueceDrives is correct the Pension systems are different TA is Civil Service OA is not. Queens and Staten Island are represented by ATU with differing Locals
  8. MaBSTOA the (Operating Authority) sole responsibility is bus operations in the Boroughs of Manhattan and the Bronx while New York City Transit Authority (Transit Authority) sole responsibility is bus operations in the Boroughs of Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island, and 126th Street Depot which is the only TA Depot in the Borough of Manhattan MaBSTOA (OA) MANHATTAN & BRONX MANHATTAN DIVISION MANHATTANVILLE DEPOT TUSKEGEE AIRMEN DEPOT MICHAEL J QUILL DEPOT MOTHER CLARA HALE DEPOT (UC) AMSTERDAM DEPOT (CLOSED MUSEUM FLEET) BRONX DIVISION KINGSBRIDGE DEPOT WEST FARMS DEPOT GUN HILL DEPOT New York City Transit Authority (TA) BROOKLYN DIVISION ULMER PARK DEPOT EAST NEW YORK DEPOT JACKIE GLEASON DEPOT FRESH POND DEPOT FLATBUSH DEPOT GRAND AVENUE DEPOT QUEENS DIVISION JAMAICA DEPOT QUEENS VILLAGE DEPOT CASEY STENGEL DEPOT MANHATTAN DIVISION 126TH STREET DEPOT STATEN ISLAND DIVISION YUKON DEPOT CASTLETON DEPOT MEREDITH DEPOT CHARLESTON DEPOT MaBSTOA (OA) is a subsidiary of New York City Transit
  9. This exam is for MaBSTOA (OA) filing period 06/04-06/24 2014 as per NYCT exam section posted on mta.info
  10. They're known to put either OA or BC after the title and neither one of those divisions are listed it's posted on mta.info http://www.mta.info/nyct/hr/appexam.htm
  11. Who would have thought another TA exam so soon
  12. Maybe a little off topic but with the departure of LIB I've noticed on mta.info that they no longer have a President for (MTA)Bus does it or could it mean that they have integrated it into NYCT
  13. most think that the T/C is there to keep an eye on them which is far from the truth and others think they are the cause of a loss of a run or two they are only doing the job that they were hired to do it's up to the public to do their part to keep that run on the line
  14. Your welcome Mark that's a good ? that unfortunately I don't have the answer to but I'm guessing because MaBSTOA is a subsidiary of New York City Transit they have jurisdiction and TA doesn't have a Traffic Checker title they also do Surveys over at Bus Company as well To answer your second ? I don't want to tell you yes and the answer turns out to be wrong the only good answer I can give you is to call down to livingston street and talk to someone in Human Resources or Call the Business Service Center
