Easy to say go get the permit if you aren't working a full time job. I plan on getting mine but the DMV is only open Mon-Friday and I work those days.

I received my letter. I have to go to 180 Livingston street Thursday March 17. I don't have my CDL permit yet but will be looking into getting it shortly. I have a decent job now so I am weighing the pros and cons of joining the MTA.

Hello. I have number 134 on the list. I don't have my CDL permit but was thinking about trying to get it at some point.Based on what I have read on here I'm assuming I have to have it before I get called? Is there a study guide that any of you have used for the test?

Just wondering why would you get your license on your own when you can get it after training? I will get my CDL permit at some point but not the license.

Hi, I'm new to this. I took the BOSS survey for MBSTOA in November and the NYC Transit Bus driver test in December. I still haven't heard anything regarding MBSTOA. Any idea when I can expect to recieve my BOSS results?
