I have a question do we have to have the medical insurance paperwork filled out before we get to the class or is that done down the line ? Or those it automatically enrolls you in once you have the 90 days

I was told to have it done before the class and to bring it everyday during that week. She said someone will come and get the folder

I agree with justdre88 it was fairly quick. I went on Monday I was number 3 to sign the clipboard. I am actually waiting for my certified disposition. I have a disposiion but that one isn't certified. So unfortunately I couldn't finish the process. Ms. Chestnut said to call when I get my certified disposition.  I know it's in the mail hopefully I recieve it by Friday. So I can hopefully go down there on Monday and finish the process for the next class.

I went straight to queens crimnal court to get my dispositions. Theyre are certified and it cost me $10. They didnt tell you to go get then then come back? Thats what they told me. If i were u as soon as i get then i would go straight to livingston. Chestnut barley answers the phone

  3. Congrats to all those who are about to start class. I just completed my medical today and will start class on the 26th. I only have my permit so taking lessons before then as much as i can. Ms. Richardson told me you could certify on day 6 and TA gives you 3 chances for the dmv.... how true is this? I heard its only one shot for the road test.

It happened to me in May I got a letter to report for May 30th on May 30th. I just showed up the next day. When I got to the front desk they asked for the letter and an ID

Thanx bro you just boosted my confidence. I just got all the paperwork ready with 2 pens. You think theyll understand me arriving 2 days later since i was suppose to report yesterday?

Just got a call from my girl telling me that a letter just arrived (NOV 28) telling me to come in for pre employment on Monday NOV 27th. Been trying to call the number on the letter for about an hour now. Guess I'll have to try and go to Livingston st tomorrow. Does anyone have an idea of the next class dates?

Same here. I just checked the mail after checking yesterday and boom MTA letter dated for yesterday smh. Has this happened to anyone else in the past? Whats the proper steps to correct this. Im currenly on hold with the usps to file a 6th complaint this year. If anything ill go tomorrow morning and hope this can be cleared up. I waited 3 years for this

  6. Hey guys its been awhile since i came here. Last year when i was called into livingston my list number was put on hold due to me not having a 3 year dmv license. Today was the day they told me to call back. I called and they told me to go to 1 Centre street to reinstate my list number. My question is now that i am reinstated, how long do you think before they call me again? Also what does that intail? How like long before i start training if all goes well? Thanx in advance guys

  7. I received my employment letter but I have an issue...I've only had my drivers license for a year and a half now. I know there's a 3 year requirement....what do I do? I don't want to lose this opportunity. Could I put my list number on hold and if so how do I do it?

  8. Most of the time when I ask driver's on the job, how is the job and how they like it, their response is "It's good, but there is a lot of politics" can anyone already on the job clarify what exactly that means? I've been getting that answer for a long time.

  9. I have a question. I know the MTA requires you to have a license for at least 3 years. Im 28 and have had my permit and driving since a teenager but finally got my license once I was car shopping (had no need to have a drivers license before then) right now i've had a full drivers license for a year and a half....could i be disqualified for not have my full license for 3 years? My license number is the same as my permit so will that cound as having a drivong record

By the way i found the page with that cheat sheet. http://www.nyctransitforums.com/forums/topic/34980-bus-operator-exam-2613-questions/page-421?do=findComment&comment=791650

  10. I was looking at past posts but cant seem to find it. Someone here posted a driving typ of cheat sheet for mta buses. I believe it had the heights limits on it...can someone repost that? Thank you. I believe it would be helpful info for those who are getting called
