Don't forget that you have to be able to identify what turn you need to make so you can set the bus up so you can execute the turn. If you setup up for an "L" turn and it's an acute turn it won't end well, same if you have a hook turn but you try to pivot turn you will not be successful. Knowing the route is one thing, being able to understand what you need to do is another. Good luck to you!

So nobody is going to tell him he was dead wrong for servicing the wheelchair passenger last? What were you thinking? [emoji23][emoji23]
I make people get off the bus who try to sneak on before the wheelchair, and if they give me any problems the bus will go out of service, me and the wheelchair passenger will travel. Just make sure you get that handbook with the rules and regulations and read it thoroughly. This way you won't get caught off guard. Like others have said you are putting way too much pressure on yourself, im not sure where management comes to play but the only time i saw the higher ups at the depot was during my evaluation. Maybe you need a change of scenery before you think about quitting, Good luck to ya!

LoL, it's not that serious, despite not passing training young shares his experience with others and has always been helpful with questions.

Just passed the probationary period, glad it's over. Those who recently passed training congrats, just make sure you stick to what is taught, getting extended sucks!

I went with just a permit, the dmv test is way easier than the 10 day training, having a cdl is a plus but if you can pass the 10 day training the dmv test should be a breeze.

Nope, Im sure things slow down during the winter months and kick back in during spring. My advice is to get in as soon as possible, i know people want to get your cdl before taking the training but dont get discouraged due to lack of a license, i did my training in april with no license and the biggest thing i drove was a pathfinder and was able to pass.Dont get caught with a hiring freeze and you have to wait an additional year or two.

As long as your exam is still active then you shouldnt be removed, but if has i doubt they would be hiring from that list anymore.Call and find out if your exam expired, if it has you'll have to reapply unfortunately.

How about reading the forum, same questionshave been asked at least 10x, and to answer your question, if you qualify day 7 you will begin rts training, and no it's not 10 straight days, you get sat and sun off

Cruickshank is the truth, i was blessed to have her for my first 7 days of training, everytime i see her she gets a hug from me. She was tuff on me but that's exactly what i needed to get through the training, if any up and comers get her you more than likely will pass. Congrats to the recent graduates, pay close attention during line training.
