New Flyer 709 on Bx21 crashed into the pillar after the driver apparently had a heart attack. At Boston Road and East Tremont, I guess the bus was northbound on the former B streetcar route to Morris Park Avenue.

I can be mistaken, but I think Hudson Bergan and Newark have different rail and wheel profiles. No way will NJT resurrect Lincoln Highway service. PATH connects the two city centers well. About twenty years ago, I rode NJT 1 eastbound and "toured" the Hudson County Correctional Facility, where I believe the Federal streetcar went.

Today's NY Daily News has an article stating that the Sixth Avenue signal upgrade (including towers) will postpone improvements to Lexington Avenue signal upgrade. Andrew Albert is quoted as objecting, as the Lex handles far more passengers. The article (behind a paywall) is quite detailed. It seems that what they call F (really Sixth Avenue from Jay Street north) has the right rolling stock to match CBTC, but the Lex doesn't. Maybe I'm confused, so forum readers, please help. Thanks!
