If there isn't a
to E 180 St program, why not suspend the
and replace it with
to Utica Avenue? BTW, I did saw an R142A at Simpson St signed up as a
to Utica.

Yep, that's how the announcements were too.

So apparently there isn't a via Broadway/West End Program on the
going downtown but they have it uptown? They have it via West end and Broadway local. Uptown F had this:
F JAMAICA-179 ST
F QUEENS BLVD EXP
F VIA WEST END/BWAY
In addition, the Broadway stops on the FIND didn't have the transfering lines.

Why not just send the
via the
to W4 and then via the
to Jay St?
West End line in Brooklyn needs service too.

Why can't the
run express to Brooklyn Bridge instead of running local? Or, why not send it to Bowling Green if the TA is just doing work on the Joralemon Tubes.

I give up. Though, I do like this signange. The average rider doesn't know what 'Sea Beach' is anyway. And it doesn't even run express there.
(Youtube Link)
That's how it's supposed to be, the
and
trains should be similar when they have R160s.

Can't figure out how to edit on mobile but the
program now says
BAY RIDGE-95 ST
QUEENS BLVD LOCAL
59 ST / BWAY LCL
59 ST / BWAY LCL scrolls.
Is it really necessary to include 59 Street even though we all know is going through the Broadway line? Just put BROADWAY LOCAL and we won't have this problem.

Hmmm....
I thought of cutting Lefferts
and replacing them with a
to Lefferts, of course running express in Brooklyn. Extend the
to Euclid and make it go local, gonna have to look into it if it's possible.

Next:
A water main break between 7th and 8th Avenues on 29th Street has caused a situation where trains on those lines can't go south of 34th Street. Penn Station itself is unaffected by this.

Jay St-Euclid Av local

Jamaica Ctr-2 Av via 6 Av Local

50, 42, 34, 23 Streets on the 8th Ave Line are closed. For 50, 42, and 34 Streets, use the nearby 7th Ave Line
and
trains and free shuttle buses.
For 14 Street-8 Avenue, take the A, E, or F train to 14 St and transfer to the L train.

Guys I'm at 182-183rd and there are police and fire fighters at the southbound platform. I think it's a 12-9 but from what I see here there are workers looking under the train with flashlights.

At the DeKalb station they still have "Manhattan, The Bronx & Queens" listed next to the
and
, even though the
was changed to 57/7.
The
stops at DeKalb late nights.

Is that why I was seeing
trains run express going downtown this evening??

Next weekend the
and
will be the 8th Avenue Express and the
will be the 8th Avenue Local on both directions.

Why oh why can't the
go to Bowling Green instead of Brooklyn Bridge this weekend? Does it have to do South Ferry since the
isn't running there either?? I'm only asking because many passengers can transfer at Fulton Street instead of taking the
at BB.

Alright, got it!

It was some guy on reddit if I remember correctly
It doesn't have the
late night service Whitehall-95 Street noted

If Phase 4 becomes complete in our lifetime, I hope that the Grand Street station gets rebuilt into a 4 track station with 2 island platforms and not be built a bi-level station.

So it appears that there isn't a programmed route on the R160
to 145 Street via Rutgers or probably the c/r doesn't know the code.

because the C/R controls on the R42's are 3/4 while the R160/R143 C/R controls are 4/4. The reason the R32's on the
use the R42 board is because R32's have C/R controls in every car and Line up evenly with the R42 boards. The R32's Doors on 4/4 C/R controls don't line up evenly with the R160 boards... Its 2-4 feet off. So it's broken down to SMEE's on the
uses the 3/4 R42 boards and any NTT uses the 4/4 R160 boards.
Ahh I see, it makes sense. Thanks for that.

My proposal for reorganization of the b division lines. This reorganization proposal will put all the trains that opperate in manhattan in alphabetical order on their respective lines.
The
will become a blue bullet b
the
will become a orange bullet e
the
will become a orange bullet g
the
will become lime green bullet h
the
will become a brown bullet k
the
when it returns will become yellow bullet m
the
will become a yellow bullet o
the
will become a yellow bullet p
Hahaha that last one got me ????????????????

Why conductors on the
ride the 3rd and 4th car of the train instead of the 4th and 5th cars like the
train does? Does it have to do with where the conductor board is located?? I ask this because the R32, R42 and R160 are all 60 feet long and each train set has 8 cars so why not line up the boards in the same spot instead of different areas.

Explosion on 23rd st EF and 1 trains bypassing 23rd st
Probably explains the
that I took on West 4 Street went via 8th Avenue to 168.

Yes.
The
will return before the SAS actually opens and will be the weekday Astoria route, while the
will be cut back to 57 St-7 Av at all times until they are ready to open the line in December.
Things are always subject to change, but this is the most recent plan.
Ok thank you

I saw an R179 (A) going uptown once I left Broad Channel on an R32.
