  2. So which definitions/ signs do you you guys think will be on the exam? Ive been studying but its a lot. My job is crazy and working nights doesn't help....
  3. Thanks gents!. I think I figured it out. How do you know if it sent?
  4. Hey guy's Anyone else having trouble sending out the AC quiz on the cd? It comes up on my computer, but when I try to emailit thru the adobe portal, it wont send.
  5. Thanks Moodyman, Congrats to you and your son! You must be very proud! So the flash cards are the way to go, that seems to be the general consensus. Is there any other insight you/he might be able to offer? Did he prepare any other way? Thanks for this.
  6. Hey Member/Cappi, I just wanted to say thank you for these insights. Much appreciated, and If I am lucky/smart enough to get that far, I look forward to serving with you. If the place is filled with guys like you, it must make going to work a very decent experience.
  7. is that a regular practice? Thank you for this btw.
  8. Thanks Cappi. So will they call you in for a 7a start, if say, you got out at 1a?
  9. Hey Iron horse, one other quick question, where does your shift end? At the station you originated from or the one where it ends? Again, thank you for taking the time out to answer these questions.
  10. Ok great, thank you so much for this. Much appreciated and good luck to everyone.
  11. Ok, thanks for this. So basically, they can call you for whatever shift they need you for, on a day to day basis? I know about the 8 hrs in between the shifts, but you will not know your schedule on a weekly basis?
  12. Hey guys First off, just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has posted here. Some great insight and info. Really appreciate it as well as all the advice. I was invited to the class on the 18th, I know a lot of studying is to follow. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone can give any info on what follows after...specifically, the drawing of the station that is involved. That part has me really worried. Any insights? also, if you get the job, trying to get to certain stations-what do you feel is the best way to get there? Meaning, if you have to get to green port in the morning, say coming off a night shift, would the train be the best way? I don't have a car, and I am wondering how much of a problem this will be. Thanks again for any info you can give.
