  1. day 2 training didnt go too bad we did hook turns out of the bus stop into a right turns come close to one crub and went over one slightly instructor notes remember to reference turns this is my second day ever driving a bus

question after right turn is set up and going 5mph into the turn and rear wheel is clear in the mirror how my accelation should be applying

  2. ok thats true what said its about preference I'm leaning towards flatbush are jackie gleason hopefully i get into one of those depots

good luck and all the best

just listen to the instructor and you will fine

    thanks man appreciate it

  3. main thing to get thru the 10 day training is listen to your instructor

drive slow don't be in a rush ,scan your mirrors 3-5 seconds, look out and call out anything hazardous around you ,keep your 4ft from cars parked on right and the curb, take your time when making either left are right turns

day 6 was today for me hope you doing well this for

thanks appreciate the information how is your training so far

  4. You're welcome.

Did you look at the handouts? That's my two cents...

First, I would call Livingston Street - 347-643-8229/30/31/32 to confirm that you're still on the list.

If that's the case, tell them what happened, and ask them when you can go down for another drug test.

    Good luck!!

yes i save them and going over them thanks

  5. Relax, Relax, Relax, this is a 4 to 1 ratio student to instructor, not like high school 30 to 1. You will get individual attention. Listen to instructor and you will get thru this with no problems. I recommend since you have time this week look over and study ALSAPS, get familiar with this and once you start and get into the buses it will all make sense to you. Don't over think things. Enjoy the process, I have 5 months this week, totally enjoying buses, good luck see you on the road, Sparrow

thanks for the words of encouragement and will do

  6. To be on the safe side, I would take it before the expiration date. Also, from what I remember from 2014, Day Zero is 7-3, the other days are up to the Superintendent/instructor.

trying to shake my nerves before next week class any advice before class this came at a good time my job been on strike for 4 months this well be life changing for me

  7. What do they give us at final processing? Class information and what else? Is training a set schedule? How many days are we at zerega before they send us to a depot?

how is it so far and how was the training

  9. First, thanks for the words of encouragement.

Second, I'm not going to be in the August 7th Class. Back in February of 2014, I failed the 10-day training session and I have to wait [5] years, February of 2019 to try again. The reasons why I was down there today was because I received an invitation to come down for the MTA Bus Co. Exam #7304 Part-Time position, I had off from work, and some of the people who I was talking to, who are members and guests of the site, encouraged me to go down. However, after asking the HR Representative about the 5-year rule, she said that the rule still applies, therefore I knew all of that was just going to be a waste of not only my time, but also taking off from work unnecessarily as well.

Good luck with the August 7th Class!! Keep us posted!!so

sorry didnt know that, thanks for all the info and help i saved those hand out you posted going over them and will keep update along the way
