Does anyone know what info you to accurately complete the pre employment packet? I work in Albany but live in NYC. I don’t want to take multiple days off so I can gather the info from different agencies. I know for sure I need court dispositions for arrests, but I got a ticket on the train for taking up two seats. Do I need any paperwork for that ticket? Do I need copy of my H.S diploma? Or my social security statements to prove I worked at a job for over a year? Any info will help.
Sorry about the long question...

Has anyone with a list number in the range of 1100-1300 gotten a pre-employment notice?

I did not, tbh I took this as a fail safe job along with other city jobs and luckily I scored well enough on #7604. I’m in finance right now but I lack the college education to get me where I would like to be and we all know how job security in finance is. This would atleast be job security in my position.
I hear that, I took so many mta exams. Stock worker for bus&railroad, conductor, multiple bus operator.. Hopefully you and I will be in the same class before the year is over.

Spoke to someone at MTA Employment. They said they are calling the 1300's from the list already.
Could I have the number please? I’m 111*, all I have gotten is my list number in the mail. Thanks in advance.

First part is multiple choice memory they play a recording and ask your questions about what was discussed within it. The second part they show you images and ask you questions about what is going on within them. It isn't difficult per se but the second part feels like an interview so if you are uncomfortable in situations like that be prepared for that.
How much time do they give you to listen to the recording and view the images? Can you take notes? Is the interview one on one or group? Thanks I’m nervous as hell.

I'm gonna assume probably 6 months like the other people waited but take this with a grain of salt because I could be wrong. What I could say is try emailing exams and see what they say.
Do you receive a score for the opa? Or is it just pass/fail? I take it next Sunday? What should I expect? Thanks in advance for those who respond.

What is the initial step before getting hired? Is it the opa, if you pass that, then the medical? Once you pass the medical, you receive a pre-employment letter with your start date? Anyone know the correct order?

Well, there is two parts. One is listening! Your memory needs to be on point during the first part of the test "multiple choice". Second, you need to look at scenarios and answer accordingly to each situation "verbal".
Thanks.
How long did the exam take? The note says be prepared to stay for 5 hours.

For the people who have been thru the process already once you get your list what is the next step? Opa? And how would they contact you letting you know what the next step is? Phone, email or call?
